Wicked week schedule has been updated to include an instore appearance at the NBC Experience Store Oct. 27 by Gasteyer and Reinders.
Ana Gasteyer and Kate Reinders, who play, respectively, Elphaba and Glinda in the Broadway company of Wicked , will make an in-store appearance at the NBC Experience Store Oct. 27.
The appearance — part of the special week of events celebrating Wicked's third anniversary on Broadway — is scheduled for 11 AM. The NBC Experience Store is located in Rockefeller Plaza.
Best known for her work on "Saturday Night Live," Ana Gasteyer has appeared on Broadway in The Threepenny Opera and The Rocky Horror Show and Off-Broadway in The Vagina Monologues and Kimberly Akimbo. She also played Fanny Brice in the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera's production of Funny Girl and was seen in the New York City Opera mounting of Cinderella. Her screen credits include "Reefer Madness," "Mean Girls," "What Women Want," "Woman on Top," "Dick" and "What's the Worst That Could Happen?"
Kate Reinders received a Joseph Jefferson Award nomination for Best Actress in a Principal Role—Musical for her performance in the Chicago mounting of Wicked. Prior to Wicked, she was most recently on Broadway in the Beach Boys musical Good Vibrations and has also been seen on Broadway in Gypsy, Into the Woods and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Reinders' other theatrical credits include The Sound of Music, A Year with Frog and Toad and Nerds.
