Was just hosting problems. If they have a glitch or go down then it tends to affect us aswell. This one was a little longer than usual but everything is sorted now. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

^Could it be because the thread reached 500 pages? I remember a mod told me once that after a thread reaches 500 pages it gets retired.

^Good thought, but not the case. The thread actually reached 500 pages a week or two ago, and the staff discussed retiring it and opening a new one. However, we thought it best to make an exception for this thread, so you guys aren't having to search two threads for one picture, and it would avoid the same pictures being posted yet again in the new thread.

It was discussed among the mods and we figured it was best to just leave them separate. Each one dies off once a new movie comes out anyways. ^Yep, it's in ongoing discussions...the big thing it to make sure that it's approved by Adam and feasible for whoever will be the one editing the site. Then there's details such as whether it will be a one-time competition or a monthly thing with new banners...whether the submissions will be anonymous, whether there will be rounds of voting, etc. But yes, I think the staff really like the idea and are still talking through it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I was just wondering. You know at the bottom of the main page where it lists all the memebers that are online? Why is there a Google.com and AskJeeves?

These threads are not being managed and monitored like they used to be. I think it's time to get rid of some mods and maybe pick a few more, because a lot of them don't visit the site anymore. By the way, this is not an insult to active mods. They're doing a great job!
