when you see enchanted at walmart and immediately look at the back for one reason.. to see Idina's name there.

When you freak out because at the bowling alley you're at, the only color balls they have out are hot pink and green.

When the background on your phone is a picture of the stage before the show starts from your seat, so that whenever you open your phone it feels like you're there.

When you get into long, long discussions with your friends over who does the best song, riff, etc out of the people you've seen. Even the friends who haven't seen it. Lol.

I just got my passport today, and I was reading one of the quotes or something onthe pages, and one is like "blah blah blah, Animal blah something" and the A in Animal was capitalized, so I was like...OMG SECRET WICKED FAN lol.

Also: when you know the days your friends are seeing Wicked...and they don't. Lol.

When you hear any line thats in Wicked and you reminiss the times you have seen it, and all the backgrounds of your mobile phone, iPod, bedroom, school folders and laptop are all wicked pictures.

when you go into Broder's for Twilight and all of a sudden, here the line 'better to have loved', and start jumping up and down and screaming b/c the store's playing I Stand, and the poor lady who was helping you just walks by and stares at you, and you're all, 'you're playing Idina Menzel's CD!' and she's like, 'yeah, it's our playlist for this month, she's awsome' I nearly DIED

when you laugh whne you read said article and on't even read past the "rumor and speculation" line.. guilty..

When confusifying and congratulotions have become words in your daily vocabulary, along with a bunch of other words from the show.

When you notice that you've started saying oh my Oz. A lot. Lol.

When your friends have already decided what they're going to say when you pass out at a Girl Scouts Wicked Day thing next January. "Yeah, she's diabetic. Too much sugar... probably not a good idea."

-when you see a three pack of pens and the pens are pink, blue, and green (not the ink, though.. just the outside) so you immediately decide you must have them.. and now the are in a spot in your purse where the are visible...

-when your heart practically stops when one of the waitresses at work says "thats good show" when you start talking about Wicked.. i wanted to hug her.. but that would be a little awkward..

-when you hear "goodbye yellow brick road" and your mind automatically goes to wicked

-when you are looking through sheet music your uncle brought for you and you see the songs from the wizard of Oz and you start singing them.. but change the lyrics to suit your feelings.. like "ding dong the witch is dead, which old witch, poor Nessa" or "we're off to see the Wizard, the tyrant wizard of Oz"

-when your aunt finds your old witches broom from halloween thats over ten years old and you think "Hey, I could perform DG in my room with this."

-when you buy a green purse because it reminds you of Elphie..

-when you make sure that something inside the purse is pink and something is blue.. that way you have all three of your favorite characters covered..

-when you post as often as I have on here..

when you drive down the road, see people fixing telephone wires in cherry pickers, and burst out into the 'Defying Gravity' chorus...

when you're watching a chemical reaction and your partner asks 'is this emerald green?' when it's clearly not, and then you flip out because they don't know what emerald green is and have never seen the WoO

-When you're at Grauman's Chinese Theatre, and you hear I Stand playing and you freak out.

-When you're reading a yearly horoscop and it says that you "reap what you sow". And you freak.

-When you're listening to Sara Bareilles CD for the first time, and you come to "Gravity" and think f DG.

When you are out with your mom and you see a lady with a WICKED hoodie and freak out. I was like "HEY! NICE HOODIE! LOVE IT! =)"

did that in borders once.. the girl wearing the hoodie gave me weird look and walked away before I could do or say anything else.. it probably didn't help that I was talking to myself as well.. I couldn't find the Grimmerie.. turns out I had walked by it three times poor observation skills..

When you actually go to your Borders for no reason other than to see if they play I Stand. They didn't.

And I was at Barnes and Noble once, and I was wearing my I <3 Oz shirt (lol I wear it almost every day because I wash it every day, lol) and some random girl walks up to me and goes, "Hey, is that Wicked? I LOVE Wicked!" and I yelled "WOOT!" in the middle of a Barnes and Noble. Lol, the girl walked away with her friend and then I heard them talking about it .

when 88% of the songs on your iPod are somehow musical theatre related , be it cast recording, movie musical soundtrack (or Disney soundtrack...those should count too!), or CDs from actors (Idina, Kristin, Adam Pascal, etc.)
And that's all because of Wicked. Before finding Wicked almost 3 years ago, the only shows I really knew were Phantom and JCS

^i know, right? after i found wicked i was like "ooohh.. broadway songs=good music!" i have a lot of songs on my ipod, but i have it set to a playlist of about a hundred songs from various shows and wicked-related artists (idina, shoshana, eden, etc.)

When you paint your hand green in Art and people stare at you

When on the bus you pass "Wicks" street and you're ZOMG TEAL WICKS!

When you ask your friend who's going to NYC to take a picture of the Wicked billboard in Times Square and the Gershwin for you.

When you freak out when Oprah's favorite color is EMERALD GREEN

When you stop any conversation you're having if you see something pink and green. Or green and blue, lol.
EXAMPLE:

My Mom: Why do you have the house keys?
Me: Oh, Dad asked me to-LOOK, PINK AND GREEN! ...what were we talking about?

When you freak out when you're reading the RENT book/listening to the cast recording, because in one of the voice mails Mark's mom says "It's the Wicked Witch of the West".

When you watch all the Wicked clips from ALL the productions (even the Japan and Germany ones) even if you can't understand a word they're saying and consider learning German just so you can....

-when this happens at work (delila is the cook, james was who was was in charge today):

Me: Where did the green sprinkles go?

delila: james threw them away.

me: what? he should have given them to me. I love green.

Delila: is green your favorite color or something.. oh right..

me: forgot about the whole me coming into work painted green conversation we had earlier didn't you?

D: yeah. you and your Wicked.

me: I need to go talk to james about this *walks to the managers office* why did you throw away the GREEN sprinkles?

James: we aren't using them any more.

me: but you should have given them to me because they are green.

J: *looks at me strangely* because they are green??

Me: unless you want to hear a very long ramble about Wicked, don't ask. just keep it at I am obsessed with the color green. *looks into storage room* OOH GREEN STRAWS *stares for a bit*


-when you get upset because there is no more helium in the tanks so you can't ask one of the waitresses to blow up a pink, a green, and a blue balloon for you, but you take out those three colors any way and set them aside for yourself.

-when you name a pink ballon that you tied to your station Galinda.. and then say "you just killed Galinda!" when some one puts a lighter up to it and pops it..... and are still holding that against him even though it was just a ballon and it happened yesterday..

-you are going to name your new car Fiyero because its blue..

I was in the car, and my mom was talking about something yellow, and my dad goes (no offense meant to people! It's just my dad being random) "Or as the asians say, 'yerrow'." (sometimes asian people say Rs instead of Ls, so yellow becomes yerrow). And I started smiling, and my mom goes "What?" and I'm just like "He said Yero!" and my parents were confusified, so I explained that Elphie calls Fiyero 'Yero', and they still don't get it. Whatever, their loss. Lol.

Also:

I got The Sims 2 today, and (obviously) made a Tiggular family with Fae and Yero And I was looking at the stuff they like and dislike, and one of the ones on Elphie was storms (not water, but close enough lol) and then her dream or something was about water and it had a big X over it, so I'm assuming she doesn't like water. Lol. Creepy coincidences!

...when you go to NY to see Hairspray, you stage door at Hairspray, and still manage to get to Wicked stage door in time to see Lisa come out.

...when in New York half of the pictures you take are Wicked related (whether it be stage door, behind the emerald curtain or just random billboards around the city)

...when you get excited while walking by the Birdland and seeing the advertisement for Annaleigh's show and then get bummed out that you can't be in New York for it.

When you've just stood on your bed in a costume you've made of all your black clothes stuck together to make it look like the DG outfit and sung DG like a complete idiot. (And fallen off the bed at the end)

When your art teacher asks you what the three primary colors are you say "Pink, Green and Blue"

When you try and pick your cat up, and she bites you, you randomly say "Come with me, think of what we could do, together," and burst out into song.

When you have successfully managed to get EVERYONE obsessed with Wicked. 2 of my best friends are seeing it this week, my English teacher saw it last Friday (but he left halfway through because "the sound wasn't 'crisp' enough"....I don't get it), and my choir director is seeing it this Sunday.

When you manage to work Wicked into your classes somehow. In Math today, I randomly yelled out "Muni (my math teacher's name)! You're wearing pink and green!" and she goes "...Is this Wicked again?" and I nod, and then she goes "Oh lord." lol. And in English, the teacher goes "Guess what I saw last week" and I'm like "Wicked!" and he goes "Yeah, it was very clever, but I left halfway through" and whatever, and then when he looked at my oratory choice (which ended up being the Popular scene, thanks to whoever suggested it) and he goes "Is it GA-linda?" and me and my friend go "Yup!" and he's like "I thought it was Gkk-linda (you know how Dr. Dillamond says it...I can't spell it. lol)" and I'm like "Yeah, if you're a Goat! With a capital G!" and everyone's like "...ok?"

I love being obsessed with Wicked. (And RENT, but that's a whole different story.)

Haha!!! I just had a WICKED day today:
1st period: My teacher found some kind of advertisement about Wicked and was all like, "Cerisse! Look! I have somthing for you!"
I took it anyway...

3rd period: I played a lot of Wicked, Idina and RENT songs at my French city-day project. It's like you're owning a city and you have to speak French and you own a business. I volunteered my iPod for my business and I was singing WITF!!!
I also facepainted my forehead to say Wicked.

5th period: Crazy... here's how it went:
Teacher: *drew a really bad looking "W"* WOW! That's a pretty WICKED looking "W"!
Me:*gasps* Wicked!!!!!!
Classmates: *laughs and stars at me* LOL

Cluster: My teacher was all like "What's that on your forehead??"
Me: "Oh...just WICKED"

7th period: My teacher glances around...looks at my forehead to find the word "WICKED"....and laughs....

My Science teacher also asked me, "What does that say on your forehead?"
Me:" Oh!!Wicked!"
Teacher: "Oh...wow...did I really have to ask??*laughs*"

I also told my English teacher to look at my forehead...I got a laugh, too.


Ahhh....such a sweet day.

YKYO When you freak out when your math teacher mentions slopes and where you being in a graph. So he said "Where do I Begin?" like Idina's song!!!!

When you randomly stop conversations if something significant to Wicked is in it. My mom asked me to read an email off her phone because she was driving, and the email was asking for certain days off (I don't why, but everyone emails her for some reason) and the guy was like "I need May 11 off" and I'm reading it, and I randomly said "THAT'S MEGAN'S LAST DAY!" and my mom was like, "What???" lol.

Also, today me and my friend were in the gym, and there was a broom leaning on the wall. My friend picked it up, and starts singing Defying Gravity, and I'm like "No, no, no. You messed up the broom movement! It's like this!" and I showed her, and then I noticed we were both holding the broom like they hold it during the "unlimited....together we're unlimited" part of Defying Gravity, so I started singing, and we got to "just you and I defying gravity" but then a bunch of five year olds walked in and were scared, so we had to leave.

And my friend's idea of an April Fool's joke is texting me at intermission and telling me "I WON WICKED LOTTERY" and I'm like "REALLY? WHERE ARE YOU SITTING?!" not even thinking she might be messing with me, and she goes "Weirdo, I was kidding...APRIL FOOLS DAY REMEMBER?" lol.

When in history you look at the map next to you and are looking at random names of countries. You get all happy because you find "Brescia" Italy. And then you look up and see Stuttgart and have to smile.

When your teacher knows to tell you that he's possibly going backstage because he has some sort of connections to Jo Anne.
