Whenever you hear the word Wicked, you freak out...and sing the songs whenever anyone makes a reference

BTW, a lot of times people put stupid titles to the threads so that when you search nothing shows up. :disagree: So you can't really get mad about that.

Someone in my class once said(for the word inimitable) for a vocab game.

"Idina Menzel's Defying Gravity is so amazing that it is inimitable."

She would never know who that even is if not for my wicked-obsessed friends and me! I was spazzing like crazy.

Another example is that my mother knows to use the word "confusify" around me :ha: .

When you sign "PS. Defy Gravity!" on everyone's yearbook even if they don't know what Wicked is :ha:

When sometimes your vision blurs and you see "Wicked" out of random words like "grapevine" or something. Well, I don't remember exactly what the word was but this happens to me a lot.

When you spend $470 so your whole family can go to Broadway over the summer and share your Wicked experience with you. Even though you don't have a job so this means you haven't been able to buy anything since that $15 Wicked poster on April 5th.

When suddenly your interest in politics is greatly piqued (although this is a little more Wicked-novel related..).

When you sing/play Popular so much, your dad starts singing it around the house b/c it's engraved in his brain!

When you're at a fair and some girl starts to sing Popular and you sing (really loud) along with her and sorta steal the show. (accidently too)

When you memorize the script and numerous parts of choreography from seeing the show.

When you rewrite the musical in your free time. I have no life...

When you constantly refer to Wicked references in daily life. Such as, someone saying rainbow and immediately start singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" or even when someone says "blonde" it could even be some stupid word, it can still be triggered! Ahh! It's insane.

When you make costumes from Wicked and/or have makeup, official nail polish of Wicked.

When you write to the cast ALL THE TIME. lol!

you randomly hear people say the "w" word (wicked) even when they really don't.

When you can't sleep at night because you haven't finished going through the entire soundtrack of Wicked in your head

When you spit out random Wicked trivia facts to your mom and receive weird looks because you can't remember what you did last week. :ha:

You ask if the cast members are for sale after buying the entire Wicked store...

Your fingernails and toe nails have been painted green for so long that it takes AT LEAST 45 minutes of scrubbing to get the green off :disagree: :ha:

I did that! I was walking down the street and saw a sign that said wicker sale and I thought it said wicked sale. LOL

When you name a pig on The Pirates of the Carribean in WDW and your iPod after Idina Menzel. Also when your classmates run up to you when you pass Elphie dolls that are a prize at Six Flags.

When you compare the only male teacher you have who you happen to like who's a bit strange and walks like a goat to Doctor Dillamond....I for one am completely guilty of such an action.

When you suddenly become a staunch political after reading the novel...even though you were always a moderate...(Not me. I've always been a staunch liberal when it comes to social issues :mrgreen: )

When one of the best teachers you've ever had gets fired for no valid reason like Doctor Dillamond and you want to take a stand by enlisting in a campaign to bring her back (this unfortunately happened today. We just found out that one of our teachers, who happens to be an excellent teacher, was just suddenly dismissed on Tuesday)

When you suddenly, out of the blue and unconscious of such an action, decide to wear really clunky long boots that reach ur knee, a knit cap on ur head, and a suit and skirt similar to the one Elphie wears when she first reaches Shiz University. (Not me. Hahaha)

When you impulsively buy a green composition book and another book that looks like the ones Elphie is holding...at least in this picture

Some one say something like "Sir", "Orange Juice," or fingers... you quickly make a refrence to Wicked or WoO.

you know you're obsessed when you've had a NIGHTMARE that you fell asleep during the second act of the show...lol points to self

When you wake up crying--but still half asleep WHILE crying--because you had a dream that you missed the first notes of Wicked because it turned out that your seats were SO far back from the stage and people were TALKING and STANDING in front of you.

And for some reason this stage was outside...

But yeah, I'm always anxious in ALL the dreams I have (I think that it means something when ya notice trends in dreams, but I'll have to look it up) so I'm not surprised I woke up crying... I mean... I didn't even realize I had cried until I woke up for good to the alarm clock. Weird stuff.

You make a miniature version of the show, the cast and ensemble out of clay and the sets out of cardboard and paper.

I'm serious, that's what I'm working on right now. If I ever finish it I'll post pictures.

OH MY GOD I WANT TO DO THAT SO BAD. Infact, I might go do it right now. XD I attempted a clay Elphaba once. It was homemade clay. Turned out horrendiferous. But I shall prevail! Mwaha!

It started out as Glinda and Elphaba on a wim, then I made Fiyero, then I made them in all their other costumes, then it expanded to supporting cast, then ensemble, then props and I've decided to just give in and make all the sets too.

Thanks! I'll try putting up some pictures of what I have so far in the near future, but some of my Glindas got mooshed when we moved to our new house so I have to remake them. :disagree:
