First - I've only been a member for a couple of days, but YOU ARE ALL AWSOME and I'm allready compulsively checking this for new messages/posts!

So... what is everyone's favorite line in Wicked?? It could be from a song, spoken word, anything!! I thought it would be neat to see everyone's!

Mine for sure is "IT"S MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" I LOVE how it sung, and I think it is one of THE most powerfully sung words in the whole show!!

When ever I pick up the phone and a friend is calling, and they ask for me, I'm always liek "It's meeeeeeee"

Did you ever notice how - I can't remember if it is Sho or Stephanie that kind of go "It's A meeeee" when they say it??

Sho did that on one of her Backstage videos

my favorite line is in the WWotE, "you're going to lose you heart to me i tell you..."

In the classroom scene. Elphaba gets really worked up and Galinda says that.

"SO HERE out of the goodness of my heart..." in DTL. And I also like "My road of good intentions led where all such roads always lead!" from NGD and "To that ball that's being staged announcing Glinda is engaAGed!" from Wicked Witch of the East and "the wicked workings of 'you know who'!" from No One Mourns the Wicked. Yeah,...I love 'em all! lol

I dont have a favorite LINE, but I love Nessa's solo in WWOTE, and I love what Elphaba sings after she levitates in DG!

I can identify with that line so much, and "I'm Not That Girl" is the song that drew me to Wicked.

That was my solo when I preformed "For Good" for my director's retirement party.

I was in a class where we did a scit called "Princesses and Leading Ladies" and I was Glinda, so I got to add that line in there.

OT: I've REALLY wanted to ask this question since Im sort of a newbie at the whole 'Im obsessed with Wicked' thing (lol) why isn't WWOTE on the cd?? Its one of my favorite parts of the show and IT ISNT ON THE CD!!!!

I like WWOTE too! But I think it makes sense that they abstained from putting it on the cast recording. It's pretty short as it is, ends very abruptly, and wouldn't make much sense for those listening to the CD who weren't familiar with the plot. The song really just pushes plot through in that scene and is actually spoiler-ish.

My favorite quote is Elphaba's dialogue in Kiamo Ko to Dorothy... "Oh, for Oz sake, stop crying!...etc" Yeah, the whole thing. :mrgreen:

It's not the line so much but I LOVE the way Julia looks around in what is this feeling, she takes a long pause and looks around as if she's looking for the perfect word and then comes up with "Blonde."

Elphie- "I wanted something to remember her by. All that was left of her were those shoe and now that retched little farm girl has walked off with them"

Glinda- "Don’t blame yourself. It’s dreadful, it is, to have a house fall on you. , but accidents will happen."

Elphie- "You call this an accident"

Glinda- "Yes, well maybe not an accident"

Elphie- "Well then what would you call it"

Glinda- "A regime changed, caused by a bizarre and inexpiable twister of fate."

I'm sure this has been said before...but "So if you care to find me...look to the Western sky" is just perfect. I remember when I first heard anything from Wicked (during the 2004 Tony Awards) that line stuck out to me, and it still does. Its just PERFECT in that spot!
