i know this may sound stupid, but was she a glinda u/s? i know she was dorothy, but when was she in wicked, and who exactly was she? thanx!

She was in the ensemble and a Glinda u/s. She never went on as Glinda now.

She was between Melissa Bell Chait and... Melissa Bell Chait. Melissa Chait was the original Glinda understudy, but then she had a stroke. While she was recovering, Melissa Fahn took over as understudy until Melissa Chait was able to return.

Melissa Chait went on more than once on Broadway, and it looks like she went on in San Francisco no less than twice. There's a review with her going on dated June 4, and at least one audio dated June 5. Also, according to The Wicked Timeline and Playbill.com, Melissa went on November 18, and Kristin did not return until the 22nd, meaning Kristin missed four days's worth of performances. Then, there's at least one review on BWW that lists her as going on (unexpectedly, to them) on May 20 04.

Although Melissa Fahn never got to go on as Glinda, she did get to perform in Broadway in Bryant Park that year (she sang "For Good" with Eden.)

I was just going on the information that a student of hers gave me... though it is awesome that she went on more than once. Thanks!

EDIT:: After reading that review on Broadway world-- I would kill 2 see MBC!!!
