I cried when Elphaba melted and the finale. When Elphaba say's "We can never go back to Oz can we?" It's so emotional. And I love the last notes in the finale. There so powerful. :cry:

ok well this is pathetic but since kristy is my fav actress i cried the WHOLE show except dtl and popular and wwote...i even cried during SENTIMENTAL MAN!!!!

I cried during the whole number of Finale. I also was crying inside when Galinda saw Elphaba come into the Ozdust Ballroom in the hat. Kate looked devistated. I felt so bad for both of them.

I have a feeling I will cry at the DG lift (when I go the 3rd time haha)--of course For Good--when Elphie melts--and the Finale Scene

I only cried the 1st time i saw For Good live. Megan was really playing up the emotions with very realistic sounding crying.

The whole time.

Well, most of the time. I didn't breathe the whole time, I know that. And because I was sick (which I didn't know until the day AFTER because I was so hyped) and on allergy meds, the crying didn't come easy. Basically, I was a wreck during intermission (because we all know what THAT follows) and, get this, I texted my sister who was at home saying, "OMG HOLY [bleep] JULIA'S DEFYING GRAVITY WAS SO SO SO AMAZING etcetc." Except I said it was intermission. And you know how long it took me to remember how to spell that? Almost half the intermission. Initially I was about to send it as "intermeshun". And I'm a good speller. So I'm sitting there (I was sitting alone, by the way... my dad was in the row behind me) trying to type on this little phone because my hands are shaking so bad.

Oh, and I bawled during For Good.

I also didn't stop smiling the whole time. At one point an ensemble member was dancing (I was front row) and just staring at me giggling because I'm assuming I looked like a major dork face.

I didn't cry the 3rd and 4th time.

Both times I have scene Wicked I cried during No Good Deed and For Good.

The first time I saw Wicked, I teared up during the ending, that's pretty much it.. the second time, with Ana and Kate, I SOBBED after Defying Gravity and in the end. The third and fourth time, with Ana and Kate, I cried through a lot of parts - NOMTW, Ana's entrance, INTG, Defying Gravity, TG, INTG®, FG, the finale.... At Ana and Kate's last show there was never a point in time when I WASN'T crying.

When I saw Kristy and Stacie in April, I didn't cry at all, except for WWotE. When I saw Eden and Kate, I burst into tears after Kate came down in her bubble. I teared up during DG - Eden is incredible. Kate's 'INTG®' always makes me cry.

Then when I won the lotto in Chicago with my twitchy finger friends I teared up during DG and WWotE.

Wow, that was descriptive. Really, I don't cry, it's hard for me to, but Wicked is just one of those things that brings on the water works. XD

For Good

the first time i walked into the gershwin, defying gravity, when elphie melts, for good, the whole time basically!

Nearly the entire show! From the first note, to Stacie's entrance, Kristy's entrance, TWAI, DTL, INTG, big tears during DG, TG, WWOTE, NGD, and the biggest blubbering baby tears during FG & the finale.

At the end of Defying Gravity... me and my voice teacher just looked at each other and busted out crying. It was really funny. Then at then end when Glinda had the hat.... that's always the most emotional part for me.

Elphaba's dance in dtl, the end of defying gravity, and from for good on! i wanted to cry during both im not that girl's but for some reason i didn't!

I sobbed during the whole thing. seriously. Except the last time. Then I only cried during NOMTW, TWAI, INTG, DG, FG, DTL, and the finale. (I've seen it 4 times) and I imagine I will be a complete reck during Eden's last. Oh and I wasn't just crying the whole time. I was smiling the whole time too (I mean...when it wasn't sad) and I was laughing at the funny parts. while I was crying...

Last time I had a smile pasted on my face (along with some rental binoculars) the whole show till For Good. Then I had to take down the binoculars because I was crying in them, then I cried till curtain call. I was like one of the first people up! I'll probably cry the whole time next time. Especially since I'll be in the front row where I won't need binoculars.... :ha: It will be crazy, I can't wait!

The first time (Chicago) it was during FG, but on Broadway (w/ Sho) I lost it during the last part of DG and then again during FG. Neither of the tours I saw affected me the way the first 2 did.

From for Good until the end I get a little teary eyed.

Defying Gravity, For Good, when Elphie melts, "We can never go back to Oz," the finale...I guess really anytime after For Good you will find me crying.

I've not seen it , but when I do, i'll probably tears up when For Good/Finale starts, haha.

"And goodness knows, the wicked's lives are lonely...goodness knows, the wicked die alone...it just shows when you're wicked you're left only on your own..."

That's when I started...then stopped and started in various points throughout, heehee. That's my favourite vocal piece in the entire show...I love it. It's so sad that it's so brief... :-(

When I saw it the first time, I was in too much awe to cry.
But when I saw it last weekend, I cried [or at least teared up, because apparently I can't cry] during DG and from FG on through the entire finale, with one measly tear squeezing out when Elphaba popped out from behind the well.

i really cried at Shoshana's last during "for good", then before she went behind the curtain for the melting scene cause she waved goodbye to megan, and when David said to Shoshana " It's time to go", i was so sad cause it was true. :cry:

I've seen Wicked 3 times (all in Chicago) and I didn't really cry until this last time I saw it. I would always tear up after For Good, when Elphaba tells Glinda, "Hide yourself." Even during Ana and Kate's last show, it was sad, but I didn't do more than tear up. I was always okay until, "Hide yourself." I hate to cry, especially in public, so I generally keep my emotions in check.

This last time, however, the second Stacie started singing For Good, I could feel myself losing it and I was in tears by the time Kristy came in. I don't know why it affected me more that time than others. I think it's because I was watching with my best friend that evening and other times I've gone alone.

Well, the first time I went, I saw the tour, and I was wicked excited (no pun intended) to see Julia... but Victoria was in. I wanted to cry after TWAI because she was SO AMAZINGLY GOOD. I teared up during the DG lift- I had mega chills, too; it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. I was sort of in shock- it really looked like she was flying.

Both the first and second time I saw it (both with Victoria) I cried when she melted. That REALLY surprised me, because not only do I rarely cry for characters in shows- I've cried for Clara in Piazza, and Abyssinia in Abyssinia, and that's about it- but honestly, I never really liked the character of Elphaba that much.

Everytime I saw it with Kristin, I did from "For Good" on (especially after the melting scene). The first time, from "No Good Deed" on. After Kristin left, the only other time I really CRIED was "For Good" on with Megan and Saycon. Other times I found it sad, but not like with those pairs (Kristin/Idina especially).

Megan Hilty's last show, I cried during the whole thing, but that was okay because Megan and Eden crying too.

On my first time, I cried during "No One Mourns The Wicked", like the beginning becasue I couldn't believe I was finally seeing it and espically at the Gershwin. I also cried during "Defying Gravity". For my second time on the tour, I had little tears during "Defying Gravity". The next show with Ana & Kate didn't make me cry and same with Shoshana & Megan even though Megan was litterally crying during "For Good". And I didn't cry when seeing it with Kristy & Stacie, sadly.

psh! prob. throught the whole thing!lol! Ummmmmm kristin's entrance, Popular, For Good, when the Wizard found out that Elphaba was his daughter, and the Finale! Oh! and when Boq's heart started shrinking. Yeah, theres prob. more but i can't think right now! :mrgreen:

'I'm Not That Girl' always gets to me. I start tearing up right about "blithe smile, lithe limb...." And then I'm ok until 'For Good.'

Kendra's entrance. Julia's entrance. End of Wizard and I. Defying Gravity. Melting till the end.

It didn't REALLY really full out hit me that I was actually seeing Wicked until...."When I meet the Wizard...." I totally teared up and had this huge silly grin on my face. WOW, I'm finally seeing it!!!

Other than that, the obvious points: DG, ALAYM(perhaps not so obvious, but it was just so captivating), and FG until the end. MOTWH also was tough to get through...the ensemble was so intense.

I cried when Erin and Katie asked, "Elphie?" after Carmen melted. Also, I cried when Carmen first appeared in DOS, it was just a touching moment for me.

TWAI makes me teary-eyed. The lyrics just get me.

Hmm, I actually didn't really cry that much the first time - except maybe Defying Gravity? Yep, probably. The second time, however, I began tearing up when the first notes of the show were played and I got this pathetic tingle up my spine. I cried during The Wizard and I (I know. Weird. Julia's awesome. kthxbye.), I'm Not That Girl (I've never cried with anyone's I'm Not That Girl except Idina's, but Julia's was just so moving and honest), Defying Gravity (le duhhh), Thank Goodness (Glinda's solo), Wonderful (because it's sad to see Elphaba to get so wrapped up in what might have been yet again and then come to the realization it just can't be that way. Life is screaming, "Sorry, frog!" in her face, pretty much), No Good Deed (so intense, vocally and especially in the acting department), For Good (Julia and Kendra have such a touching rendition) and the Finale (because I think the ending's awful. Glinda's convinced the people who mattered most are dead, and that's the thought she'll live with for the rest of her life... and because the show was over.)

The above paragraph was not a joke. I was a sobbing, emotional wreck. Maybe Gypsy divided by two? 1.5? Maybe.

The third time I only really cried during Lisa's DG and NGD. They were so fiercely acted, and beautifully sung.

I have seen the show 14 times and everytime I cry during For Good(especially Steph and Annaleigh's). The worst one was Annaleigh's last and Steph broke down in the middle of it.
During Lisa's last show I cried from ALAYM straight through until David's speech for her.

Hmm I cried during really random parts. The first time I saw Wicked, I think I cried during Defying Gravity, and maybe during For Good. I don't remember. The second time, I cried when Eden first ran out onto the stage and it hit me that it was actually her. Standing right there. I cried again during Defying Gravity when she sang her "tell them how i" riff...don't ask me why, I think I had just been waiting to hear it live for so long. And then I cried again during For Good. The other time I don't really remember crying much, except during Eden's last. I cried when I looked at her picture in the lobby and knew it was going to be gone soon, I cried when it started, I cried when she came out, I cried when she finished TWAI, I cried during the Elphie dance, I laughed so hard in Popular it made me cry, I cried during OSD, I cried during DG, and then the rest of the show, the tears nevr left my eyes. IT was SO sad. Especially during curtain call though, Eden's face was just...wow. Even Megan was like, "Oh gosh I can't look at you" lol

Well, most recently during the Finale last Saturday when Katie could barely get through it herself.

I'm not much of a cryer, so I've never cried during a show. But at Erin's last when she was literally sobbing so hard she could barely catch her breath, I teared up lol

First time I saw it (Stacie's last, NOTE: this was before I ever did any research on the show, so I didn't even know) I cried during For Good, because the whole friendship and telling a friend how important they are really touched me, and then during the finale, and then during curtain call when they said it was her last.

I don't remember specifically crying in any other performance, except when it was my fifth time.
My dad told me it was my last time seeing it, so I figured it was my last time seeing Dee and Erin, too, so during Dee's first few lines of the song(It well may be that we will never meet again...etcetc), I started to cry.
But of course my father was wrong and we've gone several times after that.


During Erin's last I was heartbroken on the inside. I was trying to cry because i knew it would give me the closure I needed, and I think I didn't cry because I had to pee so bad! Haha...but I teared up during Dee and Erin's last friendship dance in Dancing Through Life, that always makes me cry, and it was twice as bad because it was their last one! And then I cried during Erin's Thank Goodness and I was tearing up in For Good.

And then the first time I saw Kate....during her and Dee's friendship dance I cried because I knew it must have been weird to do it without Erin!

And I know on Dee and Kate's last, I'm probably gonna cry during DG and more than likely ALAYM and FG and curtain call!

First time (three times - TWAI, DG and FG), 16th July in For Good and yesterday, in For Good because CJ&Sarah cried! SO sad!
