Kristin didn't always do the high E. I'm so impressed that Megan was able to do it every single time, but Kristin's was vocally stronger. She did it when I saw her on May 19, 2004. :-)

If you look in the Broadway section, I did a poll on who saw the original cast, and most of the people here didn't. The results really correlate to how many people saw Megan/Sho as their first cast. So, while most people that have seen both far prefer Kristin, more people here have seen Megan, so they vote for her. Now, there are some don't like Kristin as much as Megan, and I just can't explain that one. I would love to hear LBB's "No One Mourns the Wicked." I couldn't vote for her b/c I've never seen or heard her, but somehow I still can't imagine anyone being better than Kristin. However, I think I like Saycon better than I did Idina.

And the only other optional thing is on the first "ahhh" (After "Goodness knows!") Kristin very rarely would slide up to a B or Bb. (Hard to tell which.)

I saw Kristin 3 times, and she did the optional notes all 3 times. It was beyond incredible.

I actually like the optional parts more than just the high E because to me, it's more of a musical phrase and flows nicely. :-)
