Shoshana Bean played Shelly in the OBC of Hairspray. What is weird is that for the first act in Hairspray, she wore a GREEN outfit. Now she's got green skin. I just thought that was funny. Yea, i'm a dork. :ha:

And she sounds awesome as Tracy. I found clips on Limewire of her singing some songs as Tracy from Hairspray. She is so talented!!

I agree! I love her Hairspray! I wish I could've seen her. That's one of my fave shows!

I would recommend it. It's not so funny as it used to be though. I saw it w/ Michael McKeen and Bruce Vilanch as Edna. That's when it was truely funny. I missed Harvey. I really wanted to see him though, he's gonna be reprising his role again in Vagus.

I recommend it too!! I thought it was incredibly funny!! And soooooooo fun. Good times.

I saw the tour a few weeks ago. The guy who plays Seaweed is amazing! I would've loved to seen Sho in it, though! I heard those recordings of her playing Tracy and thought she sounded awesome!

Hairspray is awesome but i wish Marisa Jaret Winokur was back in it becuase she was awesome!
