Yes, she is leaving. I heard someone ask either Anthony or Sean at the Behind the Emerald Curtain tour yesterday and they said yes, Michelle is leaving.

nothing. she's amazing! and she has a great fresh voice. but i don't like that julia roberts is doing broadway. can she sing?
who knows, i wanna see this new musical to see Michelle but there's no way to know when Julia's not gonna be there.
She's leaving to be Julia Roberts' understudy in Three Days of Rain, which is a straight play so there will be no singing, thank goodness. I'll be pretty happy to see a more dramatic side of Michelle, and I'm quite relieved that she's leaving Wicked. However, I'm worried that the audience will riot when they find little slips in their playbills that say, "Replacing Julia Roberts for this performance will be Michelle Federer."

I know!!! I would be excited. But that's always the problem with movie stars and their replacements--NO ONE would want to see the replacement.
Wicked fans should go see Three Days of Rain so, should Julia miss a performance, Michelle will have some fans in the audience.
