I've heared that he is rude at the SD. Is that true? Cuz I wan't to meet him again with the rest of the cast to sign my Grimmerie.

I don't know because I've never met him. But it's not the performers' responsibilities to come out of the stage door and be all chummy with the fans. It's great when it does happen, but it shouldn't be expected of them.

when I met him in Boston he was very nice to us, and I had a conversation going with him for a good 10 minutes.

I agree- their contract doesn't say "must hang out with fans." These are real people, and they have lives. I guess send him a letter and get an autograph (if he sends them) if you don't get to see him at the stage door, and tape it into your grimmerie.

I wasn't able to go to the stage door when I saw it on tour (my family wanted to go eat, and we went to this horrible place called "The Original Fish Market") but my friends did when they saw it and said he walked by, trying not to be noticed but someone shouted "Boq!" and he came back, but they said he seemed angry. I'm not saying he was in the wrong at all, once in a while you probably don't want to be mobbed by seas of people, so I wouldn't say he's "mean", but perhaps not quite as personable as some other actors.

You probably heard that VERY FALSE rumor about Logan through someone who SDed and who didn't favor his performance too much on this site. I'm certain actors know when they are being appreciated and whether or not someone truly enjoyed the performance, or maybe even the aforementioned un-Logan-liking person misread Logan's actions... Logan is actually a very personable with an amazing sense of humor.
But remember... never just shove something in their faces to sign. The preface is important, let them know how you feel. Unless, of course, you're like me, and stood stone still and starstruck. But I know Julia knew I meant well... because she was totally laughing at me... because Lord knows I looked crazy. Plus, I think my lack of words was made up for by my WAY too enthusiastic thank you. So, yeah, unless it's a special case like that... XD

Yeah, I'm ALWAYS starstruck! I smile when I recognize someone and say a few kind words, and they usually see the silver sharpie and program in my hand and offer to sign for me. Just be polite and they'll be more than happy to sign your stuff.
I do agree that the other person was rude, especially since he/she had to ask TWICE for an autograph. You should only have to ask once, if you have to ask at all.

This is absolutely the farthest thing from the truth. Logan is one of the nicest people you could meet. He is so amazing, and incredibly nice to his fans. However I do reccomend that if you want to meet him, to go to the stage door an hour or two before the show starts. Cuz Logan goes out of the stage door extremely fast, so it is pretty hard to catch him unless you get there really fast

Oh okay. My friends must have been mistaken when they thought he was being mean by doing that.

He's definately not being mean by that. I don't know about in New York but on tour no one stopped Logan very much for autographs or pictures, so he just left, he never really waited around for the crowd at the sd to show up.

He was extremely nice to me both times I met him. Not only that, but a friend of mine made something for him, and then Logan sent him a signed head shot. It was made out to Michael, but my friend's name was Matthew. Logan was really nice about it, and sent him a new headshot.

I wouldn't know, I've never met him, though everyone in this thread seems to think he's really nice.

While I'll be the first to point out that they don't have a responsibility to be your friend, if they are going to go out the stage door, they should be nice. They know what's going to greet them, and they make that choice, so they should be nice. Either be nice or go out the other way. I'm not commenting on Logan specifically b/c I have no first hand knowledge, as I don't stage door. However, when someone is rude that's just not cool. I did see Idina do that once. Granted there were tons of fans, and she was tired, but she didn't smile at anyone, and she looked away when she signed playbills. Kristin was the opposite. Although, the more I look at it, the more I'm glad I didn't talk to her b/c that would've been really dorky to tell her that I was teaching her cousin (even though it was actually true).

I'm a little confused- you said that you don't stagedoor, but then you told a story about Idina and Kristen at the stage door. Did you really see them in person? I'm wondering because I'm going to see Idina in London, and I'd like to know what to expect at the SD.

I only did once when I found out that I was teaching her cousin (a Mom told me after a concert that she was real happy that I had done a song from Wicked b/c her family was cousins with 'Idina Menzel' who had just won the Tony). Otherwise, the only reason I stage door is if I or my friend really knows the actor, like I met Peter Lockyer there with my parents at his request b/c we went to school together, so he wanted to meet them and show them around (he had shown me around the time before, but it was still cool the second time).
