I wouldn't buyit, because they're not nearly as good as Idina and Kristin.

I voted for other: "HECK NO!" I'd much rather a cast recording for the Tour or (when the time comes) the London cast. Sho's just not my cup o' tea, though I do really enjoy Hilty.

Maybe they could have "Wicked Witch of the East" on there this time. That would be awsome.

I would like an OTCR more than a current Broadway cast one.

I'd buy it if Saycon was playing Elphaba. Shoshana Bean's acting and singing aren't up to snuff. Although, she's a lot better as Elphaba than Kate Reinders is as Glinda.

I saw Kate! The only thing was that I couldn't hear any of her high notes.

Yeah, you can't really hear her hit the high notes but she does, cuz I was in the front row, and they were having mic problems that day cuz all of a sudden everything got a zillion times louder during one short day.

i would rather them do a tour cast recording. i don't like how shoshana does extra stuff to the songs. she should sing them as they were written. but yes...i would buy any WICKED recording that EVER came out.

Shoshana is my all time favorite Elphaba, and Megan is my second favorite!

I completly disagree. Megan is the BEST Glinda ever and Sho is the 2nd best Elphaba (after Jenna of course) I love those 2, they are amazing live, i need to hear them again a cd would be nice.

I probably wouldn't buy it...don't really care for sho too much...She's a good singer, no doubt but I'd rather hear a tour recording or a chicago cast recording...

I dunno if I'd buy a new cast recording or not. I still love Idina Menzel as Elphaba but yeah.

None of them sing it just as it's written, not even Idina. That's poor musicianship. You should make it your own. I like the additions that Sho makes, except that they seem to be an attempt to hide her lack of color and to make up for her lack of acting. I'm not at all saying she's bad (I've enjoyed her 4 times), but she's not up to what Idina or Saycon can do, and even Ana, who is a bit weak vocally is a little better (I'm not seeing Stephanie until 1/14).

I think having recorded versions of the songs would be AMAZING even though they might not be as good. It's a way to honor the people who play the roles...And to please us fans!

I would LOVE a cast recording with Megan and Shoshana! They were my first cast, and I saw them quite a few times. They are just amazing! Although I have to admit, I would buy any "Wicked" recording. I love being able to hear different recordings from musicals and how each actor does the part differently. I have at least three different recordings of "Les Miserables" and love different things about each cast - so to me? I would buy any of them. The tour, Chicago, any of the Broadway casts...bring them on! :rock:

There was once an article on Playbill that said that they should do a new recording of only all the Elphaba songs with all the Elphaba's singing their rendition... I would TOTALLY buy that....

I am always up for anything I can add to my Wicked collection.I would listen to it if they made one.I could put it in my car and the OBC in my house.

I wish so bad that they would make a tour cast recording before Stephanie leaves. And Kendra...she just makes me smile!

i hate steph! sorry to those who love her becasue i know there are a lot of you but i can't stand her. the night i saw her she was so off! however every time i saw sho(6) she was unbeleivable!!!!!!! i would totally buy a new cast recording!! i love hilty tooo she is my absolute favorite!!!!
