megan 10-ish, ben 15-ish, and shoshana 25-ish.

Do you think if I just ask for a picture with them, will they do it?

B/C I want to get the special program that you buy signed, but I would rather get a picture with them. I just don't know what to do, b/c I am afriad sooooo many ppl are gonna be there.

nope. if they don't allow it they don't allow it. it would kind of be unfair to let one person do it and no one else.

Hi! When i saw the show(NYC- Dec. 20) Sean McCourt came out and signed several people's playbills and didn't take pictures. Megan then came out and took pictures and was really nice. Ben took pictures and liked kids under the age of 12. Anyone older he would just say hi, my younger bro and younger sis talked to him for 10 min! Sho wouldn't take pictures unless they were moving. I went to the stage door again after the matinee and there were a lot less people there. David came out and was really really nice. He also took pictures if you asked him. Megan did pictures and talked and was nice. Sho came out and was digging around for a sharpie. her friends were there, so she said hi to them and came and signed. She took pictures if you asked really nice. :-)

see....you shouldn't have to bribe her. we're paying her salary.

Yeah, you think that paying that much money to see them perform, they could at least take a few pictures and be nice about it! That is what I love about Hilty and David so much!

she seemed happier after the matinee on Wed. than after her performance on Tue. her friends also brought her red vines licorice. that would make me happy!

The understudy for Raoul and the understudy for Phantom, and the normal Christine were SO nice when I asked for pictures/signatures at the POTO musical. Why can't everyone else be like that?

Is it just me, or does it seem like the Glindas always seem so nice and are happy to do pics and sigs? I'm not saying that others don't, just that every Glinda I've heard of has been extremely nice.

I think it is in the personality. Glinda is so open and bubbly, and it is kind of in the actress to be that way too.

kendra....she HATES the stage door and usually doesn't do pics. steph however will come out no matter what. she's amazing!

Kendra did the stage door and was nice when I saw her.

when i saw it in chicago she was fine. but when she came to st. louis she only came out a couple times and she was VERY rude to one of my friends.

I guess some people don't like to be screamed at...and no matter how polite and dignified you may be, there is always an idiot there screaming their head off.

I had a dream Kendra was mean to me. It was soooo sad!

When I saw it in Dallas I asked Steph if Kendra was coming out, and she said no because she usually just goes to her dressing room and takes a nap after the shows and then leaves when she's not as tired. She said that Kendra gets tired really easily.

that sucks that you couldnt get to take pics with them. I saw it on the tour and you can take pics with them. I guess there isnt as many ppl though. I really wish i could just get shoshana's signiture from her and not by mail... oh well at least i have it!

i'll never forget my stage door experiance with julia and kendra! omg they were soooo nice i waited for kendra for like 15 min and julia like an hour maybe. when she came out ..there were only like 8 people there(it was below 0) and julia said "guys you waited?! oh you guys rock thanks for waiting!" then i asked for an autograph and a picture and she was sooo nice about it she said "oh of course" and i said thank you soo much and she was all "your welcome soo much" lol i love her she acted like my bff or something and kendra was in a rush and was really nice but sorta in a bad mood. but shes was still perky and cute lol

Really when I left the auditorum to stage door it took me 2 mins and then when I waited kendra came out in 5 or 7 mins that was quick but julia took 20 or 25 mins!

maybe kendra just doesnt like all the attention? that's probably not right, but it's just a thought i had....some people dont like the spotlight as ironic as that sounds because she is an actress....but it could just be she doesnt like the attention...

Kendra's extremely shy. I hate that people think she's a diva because she doesn't like stagedooring. I used to think that way, but then I realized. It's not their job to come out of the stagedoor. It's not in their contract. And some people are just shy. I know Kendra appreciates her fans. Just because she doesn't always come out and take picture doesn't mean that she's a diva.

That being said, I do know that Kendra has started coming out a lot more. Julia and Sebastian are always willing and kind and generous. But if someone's not there, just don't freak and think they're a diva. Respect their personal space.

Kendra came out after every show in Tampa last year that I was at which is 5. She was always so nice and kind.

About Kendra: From my experiences with her, she does seem really shy. But, shyness should never be mistaken for diva-ish behaviour, especially since she appears to be as sweet as she can be at the SD. For instance, I saw Wicked a few weeks ago and both Kendra and Julia were out sick, so I tried and won lotto the next day. At the SD, Kendra came out and was uber nice despite her being under the weather, but Julia didn't. Now, I really wanted to meet Julia so I was quite dissapointed for a bit, but then I remembered: It's not an obligation for the actors to come out of the Stage Door and sign stuff, take pics etc. So I was over it, and I prayed that Julia and Kendra would feel better for the evening performance on the walk home.

Same thing with the diva-ish behaviour with Shoshana. It's not that she's rude, she just wants to go home and get some rest like every other person.

Also, just because Glinda is bubbly and extremly sociable does not mean the actresses who play her have to be. Remember, it's a character. An actress just acts, she's not always the same as her character.

And that is my 2 cents on the matter

When I saw Wicked, Kendra was the sweetest thing at the SD. My friend and I made her a shirt. She was so grateful. She gave both of us a hug thanking us and everything. She took two pictures with us! She wanted to get a picture with the shirt. Best night of my life! :mrgreen:

I don't think she hates the SD at all.
