JM: Yes! Walmart, Best Buy....oh, now I'm being a whore.

(after a little while when most of the people cleared out)

Me: Julia, you're AMAZING! Could you sign my CD?

JM: Cool! You bought my CD!

Me: Yeah, the day it was released! You really were amazing, here, this is for you (holds out present)

JM: Well, um thank you for this...whatever it is!

Me: Well, thank you for the signed picture, I've written to you once, you probably don't remember.

JM: What's ur name?

Me: Micheal

JM: Wait! Is you name spelled a little differently?

Me: YES!!! Julia Murney remembered my letter!

so brooke got me backstage of the kennedy center to watch WICKED from the stage manager's area!!!!!!! ahhhhh! i got to hang with the cast before and after the matinee! sosoo happy! let me tell you, the coolest nicest people in the world!

okay so i'm standing back there next to the stage manager and all of a sudden, stephanie j. block walks up to me

sjb: hi, i'm stephanie! (she hold out hand)
me: hi!! (i shake hand and gasp b/c she's green and that's so cool!)
sjb: oh no it won't rub off on you
me: oh i know!
sjb: (noticing my electric eel opi nail polish) oh i think we have the same color!)
me: cool!
sjb: well it was nice to meet you, i have to go on now!
me: you too! break a leg!

then i talked to carole shelley and some other cool people! i went to dinner then upstairs with everybody. there were awsome people! let me tell you how gorgeous fiyero was! i'll post pics asap! i feel i'm missing things so there's more to come!!!!!!!! hehehehehe!!!!!

So after the matinee on June 17th I got some ensemble sigs and then no one else came out so my mom and I started walking to our favorite NY cafe and I see KATE REINDERS walking right beside me. Here's are convo:

KATE:*GIGGLE* YES, I AM!
me: We just saw you in the show and you were amazing!
KATE: AWWW, THANK YOU!
me: Could you sign my playbill and poster please?
KATE: SURE! YOU SAID MY LAST NAME RIGHT! YOUR MY NEW FAVE PERSON!
me: Thank you so much! Were seeing you in October! I can't wait!
KATE:THAT'S GREAT! WHEN?
me: October 1st!
KATE:I'LL BE AT THAT SHOW FOR SURE! IT'S A WEEK BEFORE EDEN'S LAST!

and then it just got better. We got to our cafe which is like two blocks from the Gersh. My mom and I sit down and...

me: omg, hi derrick!
DERRICK: hey, how did you like the show?
me: It was amazing! You were great!
DERRICK: THANKS! SO, WAS THIS YOUR FIRST TIME SEEING THE SHOW?
me: No, we saw the tour in janaury but you were here already. :cry: Were seeing you guys again in October!
DERRICK: THAT'S GREAT! *SIGNS POSTER AND PLAYBILL*
me: Thanks so much!
DERRICK: YOU'RE WELCOME! WELL I GOT TO GO AND GET DINNER AND HEAD BACK TO THE THEATRE!

Me-(pulls out one with pegleg) You see, on the Pirate Queen Musical Forums, we named this one Lauren after a member who has a pegleg imported from Japan.

And then we got a picture.

There was a whole conversation over dinner with Annaliegh, Brooke, Lori, Sebastian, Aaron, Jenna, and others, but I don't remember it word for word or anything. :mrgreen:

I said that because Idina had been on in Act 1 that night and she left at intermission because she was sick. Eden took over in Act 2.

My only story from the SD is when Derrick asked me how I was and I responded "I'm good, how are you?" I can't believe I just let him pass on without telling him how amazing he was. Then when he went on to the other people next to me, I yelled "I loved the show!" He didn't hear me...lol.

Eden and Kate didn't come out. :cry: I've said this before, and I'll say it again. I've seen Eden twice, and I've never had the chance to tell her how amazing she is. I've written letters, but I've never talked to her in person, or seen her at the SD. :-(

Another reason why she NEEDS to come to L.A.!! :mrgreen:

Haha, I don't remember word for word... I saw the tour twice in Boston, both with Victoria as Elphie...

The first time, all I remember is telling Kendra her 'Popular' was hilarious. I told Jen Waldman that WWOTE was my favorite song in the show (she rolled her eyes and said 'it's mine, too! haha'). And Victoria had done this really neat riff on the second 'Fiyero' in NGD, so I told her that I thought that was really awesome, and she said she said, "it's so much fun!"

The second time, I was sitting in the second mezz so it took forever to get out, so we only caught Victoria. I told her it was my second time seeing the show, and her, and she thanked me and. yeah.

Oh, and the first time my mom asked Alma Cuervo if her dog's name was Dodo. :ha:

If I'd only won the lottery for the evening show! *sobs*

Ahh, yeah..I actually saw the matinee that day too, but since only Derrick came out after and I really wanted to meet Eden and we were staying over in the city anyway, I went back at night.

I swear I'll speak to Katie RJ next time I go! I totally spoke to her the first time, and yet somehow I was too scared the second time. Our first convo went something like this:

ME: Uh Katie... sorry, could you sign this for me please?
KRJ: Yeah sure. *starts signing my programme* Oh dear... the pen's run out.
ME: Damn
KRJ: Here, put your hand under there will you, my arms are too full of things *takes my hand and shoves it under the programme*

Here's a few of mine... my funniest SD conversation ever was with Martin Ball on 2/10 - there were 3 of us at SD before the show and someone used "stagedoor" as a verb.

Martin: "that's the first time I've heard that used as a verb".
Me: "Yeah everything can be made into a verb, like to fangirl."
Martin: "What's that?"
Me: "It's what I'm doing with you right now: OMG MARTIN BALLLLLLL!"
He laughed, thank god

On the same day, with Kerry Ellis:
Us: Kerry, can we just say we can't wait to see you in the show!
Kerry: I can't wait either!!!

With Katie RJ:
Me: Hi Katie, I just wanted to tell you how much everyone loves you in the show...
Katie: Oh, thank youuu!
Me: Remember when I was talking to [name of guy I know who works there] and you came out to talk to him, I really wanted to speak to you I got all shy and didn't say anything...

Me: And then when I actually saw the show you just flew out of the SD... I was with the girl who gave you the necklace the next time...

The fun thing was my gf took 2 pictures of us as we were talking so we were like talking-then posed for a pic-talking-posed for another... it was a bit surreal...
And then before she left she asked for my name and after the show she remembered it when she signed my program!!!!
