Today in my drama class we were studying voice range. So my teacher brought in the soundtrack to Wicked. We listened to "Popular" and "I'm Not That Girl." Everyone loved it and some of them are now interested in the show. Yay for my teacher for recruiting new Wicked fans. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Today in Drama we played musical chairs ( :ha:) and I was hoping that she would play a song from Wicked but sadly, no.

In my school's drama class, we start off the day by reading the past week's results in top shows, movies, tv, and music charts. Wicked is always on top and whenever he says "#1 is Wicked" he follows it up by singing " GOOD NEWS!!!" and I laugh EVERY time....the joke has worn off for the rest of the class, but not for me. :mrgreen:

Totally true. Also as I've said before we listened to "I'm not that girl." I think Idina does great voice changes although I was hoping my teacher would play "Defy Gravity." I was also thinking she should play "Dancing Through Life" just for the fun of it.

I take theater and my teacher is totally lame. she tryed explaining Wicked to our class because i brought in my grimmerie for a prop item and was so wrong! she is still in love with Cats' makeup! she showed us a movie on it!

My teacher explained well, but didn't give too much away. She didn't want to spoil it.

well she said that she hated Cats and then told us that she loved it.

my director loves wicked soo much. hes seen it like 5 times and is taking our showchoir back to see it again. then i think we'll have a workshop with one of the cast members of wicked! :mrgreen:
