This is a thread dedicated to the amazing Kate Loprest who is currently the understudy for Galinda in the Chicago production of Wicked.

Kate is my favorite Galinda! She has an amazing voice and i know that she has a big fan base! So this is where all the KLo fans shall unite!

I haven't seen her go on but she always says hi to us outside the SD. We always pre-show and when she comes bye she says hello. That's so nice of her.

I did meet her at Stacie's last and she was very nice as well.

hmm i havent seen her but i want too :dancing: haha that banana cracks me up everytime...! :lol1:

yeah she is amazing. and super nice. not to mention a bit spaztic after she plays Glinda.

I love her! A lot. She's pretty much my favorite Glinda.. (out of the whole 2, but whatever.)

Shes the nicest person at the stage door.. and yes, very spaztic after shes plays Glinda.

And, she wears the amazing wig in No One Mourns the Wicked.

Ooh yes. the Y wig. and then in Shiz the pink hat and in Oz, the Parasol lady. yes i am so much of a loser that i had to find her in the ensemble in every scene. she has the same ensemble parts that Kristy Cates did on broadway...i found it interesting

ok so pretty much...kate rocks my socks! I LOVED her as Galinda...and she wrote me back! Such a sweetie! Ahh....i hope to see her sometime soon! :rock:

I know she is SO nice. i made her that little glinda figurine and she emailed me that night. And for the rest of the time i was in chicago we would SD and she would come over and hug us and talk for a while. she is so nice!

Yes, she talked to us all 3 times we were at the SD. I gave her flowers on our last night there, and Taylor was like "We're going home tommorow, so this is our last night here, so that you dont think we're going to keep showing up every night."

After a matinee, she just suddenly showed up behind us and gave Taylor and I this huge hug, and we were just like "Whoa! Where did you come from?"

oh yeah, we were really suprised because she hadnt even performed at the matinee.

My freind saw her and said she was fantastic!

Haha! She was so cute. She had on these PINK RUBBER rainboots that went up to her knees with like...these HIGH tube socks. and shorts. hahah. she is SO adorable.

Yes, I remember that.. After she said that, at band I was looking at her for a couple of seconds (before she started yelling at me.. shes an angry person!) and she does kind of look like her. So now I think of Wicked everytime I see her.. (but then I quickly turn away, because she frightens me.)

But anyway, yes any help would be appreciated. Last time we tried to make a fansite for someone, it failed when we tried to pick colors. So if someone else wants to make the layout, feel free to.
