My friend just called from intermission and said it was amazing so far. Her exact quote was "I pooped my pants." She'll give me a mini review after it is done.

She said Galinda and Elphaba were played by understudies but she can't remember their names.

I don't know if means standby or understudy because shes just used to seeing understudy.

Katie Adams and Brandi Chavonne Massey were on.She said they were fantastic. She loved Katie Adams. She had a fantastic voice. Brandi was great too. She said DG was amazing and so was NGD. She LOVED Katie Adams's NOMTW. Everyone was fantastic. She noticed Jenna who played Libby in Sabrina the Teenage Witch which she loves so she flippeed out. She said David Garrison was great, along with Carol, Derrick, and Logan.

I am so glad she liked Brandi! Brandi is so awesome and has improved so much! I think she is the most improved Elphaba. I am glad your friend had a good time!

I wonder why Ana and Kate were both out. Maybe they needed a break.

I know she was upset when she read there were understudies.

I kept telling her about them and she couldn't wait but she loved Katie and Brandi.

Wow both of them were out on the same day odd..glad she enjoyed Katie and Brandi though. I have never seen Brandi but when I saw Katie on Wicked Day I loved her.

That's so exciting that Brandi got to go on! Considering that she's been the understudy for almost two years and has only been on five times (three of which were specifically scheduled), I can only imagine it must have been a nice surprise for her, and for the audience (I like Ana, but Brandi's interpretations are just more exciting for me... not saying she's better, I'm just a big Brandi fan so I'm partial to her). I think I shall start a petition to principalify Brandi...

But I digress. Yay for Brandi, how exciting. Hmmm... and on the day of Kerry Ellis' first performance in London.

Brandi is leaving Wicked on December 5th, so they most likely let her go on because of that. I'm not completely sure (I'll have to ask Saycon,) but regardless, it's good to see that Brandi was able to perform!

I was at that performance. At first, I was very disappointed because I wanted my sister and daughter to see Ana & Kate (I saw them in Chicago), but the the two of them blew me away!

One funny thing happened - During NGD Brandi's cape got caught on her face for a few seconds before she could get it off. I will give it to her; she didn't miss a note!

Haha. That's kinda funny about Brandi's cape! lol I'm glad you loved her and Katie despite your disappointment about not seeing Ana and Kate. They're fantastic!
