Umm that kind of makes me sad. Poor girl was pretty traumatized by her fall. O_o

no need to be sad...idina was obviously not traumatized to much...she made fun of half of it at her solo concerts that she did in massachusetts...if youve heard her falling through a hole story...

haha nope the entire thing is really acted out...real guards, real dorothy, real elphaba...the only projection is the little tornado that appears after she melts

Last time I was there I saw the Dorothy (I don't know who it is in London, I thought it was Sarah Earnshaw but she wasn't on that day so I don't know who it was) and had a proper spazzy moment because I didn't think it was a real person!

How many versions of the souvenier program are there? I have the OBC one from Chicago last year....

Just two American versions: the OBC and one that came out last fall with photos from various casts I believe every American cast up until that time was represented.

I'm really surprised the US is only onto it's second programme. I mean, London's onto it's second already. I would have expected there to be a new programme for each cast change so as to get the right pictures for the cast the audience is seeing. It must be strange to not necessarily have any pictures of the cast that you are seeing.

We rarely update programs here. Rent is still selling its OBC program, 11 years later. It was actually a rare treat for Wicked to update it's program. Les Mis was also good about updating it in its original run.
