Just say it would be better for viewing purposes, and that people interested in seeing the show would get to see a better view of it by the pictures or something. Or you can ask if you yourself can get the larger files sent to you... and then just post them here

I don't think it does. The actors sign their own production photos and send them in the mail, so printing shouldn't do any harm.

The pictures on the Wicked website are there to PROMOTE the show. I think some people have skewed visions of Copyright laws.

Copyright infringement would be taking a picture and saying you took it. If you're going to make money off of something a promotional photo is in, you must give credit to the original photographer.

If copyright laws were so strict about promotional photos, they wouldn't be on the website to begin with.

Honestly, I'm less concerned about the copyright thing than I am about a few (or more than a few, but that's not my point) random WoOers utilizing the WoO name and claiming to speak for it without getting permission from the owner. You can totally get your point across without bringing WoO into it or claiming to represent the views of everyone. Sets a bad precedent...

I think some of the most important things for that letter is to
A ) Fix the grammar
and
B ) Try not to sound quite so offensive with terms like "The pictures provided on the Wicked site just don't cut it they are just too small and at that size they look like they were taken on a cellphone." which are insulting to Joan and the webmaster.

if you send a letter, i don't think you should mention WoO whatsoever... that sounds kinda... desperate?

However the cap posted on the previous page is from a still photo that's part of one of the videos so there isn't any actual video footage of CJ Lots of backstage clips with Kerry, Oli, Dianne, Andy, Susie etc though so plenty of capping opportunities!

Wow, Wicked Germany must have more official pictures than any of the other productions have had in their entire runs.

I'm guessing the US and London productions have just as many pics but they just don't get released....

Those photos are from a press call, so that particular photographer decided to publish all of their photos. The London production had one too, those are the photos that were found on Arena Pal. I don't think that really happens in the US.

It's so weird! It was there during this broadcast. It's the same hologram that they use at the beginning of NOMTW.

And neural...I don't check my PMs! But I'd be happy to resize those pictures for you.

I use VLC and resize them and correct the levels with Photoshop.
