This is going to sound really weird but I was just looking at a picture of Kerry and Helen and you can see Kerry's arms are actually painted and we all know that usually doesn't happen.

I even looked at an Idina and Helen photo and you can clearly see the green meshy thing she wears to cover her arms.

I think that they are painted, but it think it's because, it is a pretty close-up picture of her bare arms. They don't want the production photos having green mesh. :ha:

No its lways he green mesh, they just photoshop things around and change colors around to make it look good. :mrgreen:

It could just be the lighting, or the watermark.

It's definitely removing the watermark. I'm working with the clone brush right now, and that's what happens when you use it to remove a watermark.

Yeah, I love that photo too! Best For Good photo, IMO.

I experimented with the clone brush on a couple of London photos. Unfortunately, I couldn't get Idina's face right on the second one, so if anyone can, go for it! And I completely killed her hair.

Gah... I can't believe those are watermarked. It hurts my soul.

Is it OK to post unwatermarked pics? I thought that we weren't allowed to. If we are allowed I've done one Helen one which has turned out fairly well.

I know some people don't like to discuss this so this is all I'm going to say: a lot of Wicked pictures are Photoshopped. And that's it.

Why don't people like to discuss it? I know a lot of the London photos are photoshopped. Are some of the US production photos photoshopped?

The full shot of Shoshana defying gravity is. She's pasted over Idina's body; the rest is the same. So is her "official" Defying Gravity shot, where she's superimposed on the the DG lights. It's a shame...I made a wickedsecret about it last week. :ha:

No, the picture of Shoshana with Idina's body was up on the official website. But that's basically the only Photoshop job I really have beef with...pretty much all of the pictures are touched up a little bit, some clearly more than others, but I think people overblow the Photoshop criticisms sometimes. Now, whenever some new pictures come up, everyone look for flaws in them that might not actually be there.

Um, okay? I made a mistake and corrected myself. It's not that big of a deal. It's not as if I pointed it out rudely or criticized anyone. The majority of the new pictures ARE Photoshopped majorly so I don't see how I'm looking for 'flaws'.

Is there a decent copy available of the promo pic which is behind Kristin in this picture (the one of Idina).


I think it's from the SF previews because of Idina's costume. All I can find is a very poor quality copy that looks like it was scanned from a newspaper. Anyone got a good version?

The promo shot is from SF, but I think that picture is from NY,,,there are pictures of the SA cast in front of the same mural on the wall behind them (I can't post them, becuase you can't save and stuff from broadway.com)

Yeah, the promo shot is from SF but the actual picture is from NY at the opening. I presume that at that point, they probably hadn't taken Broadway pictures?
