At the Gershin they sell seats that are like at the edge of the row and they block you from seeing the back of the set, but you can still see the things going on on stage I think.

my friend went to see Wicked and had partial view seats and she still loved it. She said that she couldn't see all of Defying Gravity though (which sucks) but I guess it depends on where exactly you are. most likely you'll be fine with partial view seats.

I heard that you can't see 10% of the stage. Thats not bad at all.

AND partial view is better then NO view. I'd go see Wicked! if I could only see 1% of the stage :-P

Row F = far back enough so it won't make a difference.
Maybe like 2% will be blocked.
It's fine. I sat front row partial before and it was fine.

I love partail view! I liked it better than the full view. It's intense.

I'd rather sit in the Rear Mezz for less. If you're too far over, you miss a ton of the action, including when Elphaba comes in during "Dancing Through Life." You miss facial expressions, but with such a big set, you are only seeing 65% of the stage with partial view (according to official sources). True, you don't miss any of the main action, but you do miss some. The first time I saw it, I sat partial view, and I couldn't tell how much I missed until I saw it Rear Mezz. It was especially problematic b/c I was at such an angle that I could barely tell that Elphaba had been lifted. Now, orchestra level full-view, that's amazing!

Hey - I had those exact seats F 24 & 26 a couple of weeks ago when I went, and they were fine! They were far enough back so that you don't miss too much - you miss some of the background stuff, and the really far upstage entrances are hard to see but the actors don't stay up there. You're really not going to miss too much, and it's nice to see the show from that close.
