Well, I have my Wicked connection. Just with less people. My choreographer at school her name is Jeannie. She used to be a dancer in Florida and her mother was, i think, a dance teacher and choreographer. Her mother had this little prodigy named Lauren Gibbs, who Jeannie was extremely jealous of. Well, Jeannie found out that Lauren was cast in the ensemble of Wicked.

Jeannie went to see the show last year. She looked in the Lauren's bio, it says 'thanks to mom, dad...and Miss Jean.' Jeannie was crying when she saw that. So after the show Jeannie went to the stage door and when Lauren came out, they all started bawling and hugging.

I really thought it was such a cute story.

So anyone else have Wicked connections?

this kid in my grade he is gay and this year when he meet me he had a crush on me and one thing i am not gay so he imed and he was talkin to me and at the time my icon was wicked and he said his aunt is the coustome person for the show. So bein thebuff i am i was like Susan he was like ya. I was like not she is not so he said want to see pics and he should me pic of him and her at his house and pics from when he meet the cast

My musical director played for the tour when it was in Houston, and my voice teachers friend (Jen Waldman) is in the ensemble on Bway.

Yall are lucky I have friends who got to go backstage when it was in Housotn (I don't know why, but I'll ask), that's the closest thing I have.

There's a guy who lives next to my uncle his name is Dan Miller (he plays the cello, for those who have to run to get your playbills) he plays in the orchestra pit. So I got to take a sneeky peek backstage after the show. That's my connection. Tee Hee. :mrgreen:

I went backstage in Houston 2!!!

Mine is a long connection. One of my good friends' brothers (Paul) was in La Cage aux Folles when it was on Bway and he met his best friend who is now in the ensemble of Wicked. Pauls friend is roommates with Shoshana Bean. So my friend Emily went to see Paul for Thanksgiving and they had dinner at his friends apartment, and Sho was there....she made the turkey. Needless to say, I was VERY jealous!

We'll I have a connection to the Chicago production . . . My friends piano teacher's brother plays the keyboard in the pit for the Chicago show. So when me and her went to see the show we got to go down in the pit and say hi and stuff. Unfortunatly we did not get to go backstage :-(. But it was fun!!!

The most connections I have is my choir teacher's friend is friends with Ana Gasteyer. But this connection doesn't really get me anywhere. My sister probably has more, she just hides them from me. lol.

I know Idina's bass player. He took me backstage. Idina had left though... ::sigh::

Chicago connection for me, as well..... My roomie works at a daycare. One of her co-workers had to quit because she got hired to be Ana's nanny! (She got hired b/c she used to work at Second City, not as a comedian, and when Ana needed a nanny she asked friends at Second City if they knew anyone and got her as a rec.) So, my roomie got to hear on good authority later on that Ana is an awesome and hilarious person and her daughter is really cute. :mrgreen:

Also nothing to do w/ Wicked, but last time I was in LA I metthe little girl from school of Rock (Miranda Cosgrove) saw Paula Abdul, saw Will Ferrel and Christina Applegate (WE were walking down Hollywood right when the premeire of Anchorman was) and I saw simon Cowell driving a ferrari. :ha:

once again i wish i had Wicked connections! i once met Paul and Morgan Hamm who are gymnasts who went to the Olympics. i've seen some rich, famous people in NYC, but i can't remember who they were(it was a trip several years ago)

A kid in my school is related to Micheal Eisner...that's my only famous connection other than my previous Wicked connections.
