Ok, I was talking to my friend who is on here alot, but she forgot too about, why can't cheno be in women of faith anymore, I am guessing she is Christian according to her songs on her new album "As I Am" Can anyone help me, i'm just curious
Elphaba/Belle
I think it's because she supports gays. Not sure, but I'm pretty sure thats why. I think that's a stupid reason.
broadwaybabe87
I am not sure if this is the right reason but I had read something on a Cheno forum about her supporting gay people and the women of faith people got upset and she got kicked out. I will try to find the article. Cheno is such a sweetie I love her - I will try and find this article...

I can't find the article but I am positive that is why... dumb reason if you ask me...
wsternskygal
Thanks guys! That is a dumb reason, but at least she is Christian, and at least she isn't afraid to stand up for it and sing it, I am a proud Christian too, and I was very VERY pleased when i saw and listened to her cd, does anyone else agree?
broadwaybabe87

I'm also Christian and I think Kristin is the epitome of what a Christian should be. Kind, accepting, and tolerant. Well, maybe not accepting, but at least kind and tolerant. I have friends that are gay and I try to judge everyone on an individual basis because every group of people men, women, different races, different religions, different orientations has some whackos on them and I try not to blame a few for what others do that gets on my nerves! There are some Christians who give Christians overall a bad name right? So it's only fair to judge people as individuals. Kristin makes me feel good to be a Christian. She was supposed to be with Women of Faith in my town and I was really disappointed she wouldn't be. But even if she had and got asked to leave later I'd have been sick that my money went to support those people so I'm glad I didn't go either way.

right on

thats what i'm talking about

I'm Jewish and I support gays. I mean I have a lot of friends that are gay and my uncle is gay too. I support them so much that I believe they should have the right to get married. It's not like the world is going to end because two people of the same sex who love each other very much and get married. And if they do have the right to get married I bet you they will still be prejudice by not allowing same sex divorcing.

oi...don't get me started on this subject...then I'll pull out my good ol'...nevermind...in order not to sound rude (well, it's not rude to me) I'm just gonna stop talking...but being a christian and getting the bible shoved down my throat most of my life, I know a great deal about it and how often "rules" are misunderstood and all that other stuff...yeah I analyze too much.

But after hearing about this whole Women of Faith thing, my respect and support toward's Kristin only increased more than it's original abnormally large size.
