That was so funny and so cute! I had a student teacher this year in my music classes who was a big Wicked fan. So on January 8th she was in New York and she passed by the Gershwin and saw ambulances there. As a joke she said 'I bet that's for Idina.' The next day she saw the show and freaked out when Idina came out. 'I whipped out my camera. I have some many illegal pictures!' Can you say best student teacher ever?

Yeah, Idina singing that much would've been risky. I think they did a great job bringing her back as to not disappoint huge fans.

yes, the end of Wicked on that day was just pure historical. the way JLT ended in the bubble, the lines joe mac said and idina coming out in a red track suit and not in green..... that was just a very memorable night
