I loved Lisa when I saw her!~ Her voice and acting fit the part perfectly.

Lisa is perfect for Elphaba and she looks great green! I saw her on Friday (I'll write a review later) and she was amazing. I knew she could sing the role but I didn't know she could sing like THAT. I loved every minute of it!

'Tis pronounced Bresha. And there's actually a city in Italy *called* Brescia, so you're not too far off

I always said it Lisa Breh-see-uh, but I finally just asked her and she set me straight. It doesn't always look like Breh-sha to people.

She was on yesterday for the maintnee. The clearest 'It's meeee' I've ever heard. Even if she did start a bit too early haha. It was like Lisa: It's not her. It's meeeee. And Kendra kind of opened her mouth then closed it real quick and was kind of like oh well. lol but very good. She did a fantastic job.

Also want to add that Michael Seelbach was on as Fiyero and did the most amazing riff during ALAYM on 'Its up that I fell'. I was just kind of like

since i'm in love with lisa (i heard her portrayal of amneris and have been hooked ever since) and really really want to see her SOON, is there any like set days she knows she'll be on so i can try lottery or even see if any partial view tickets r available? i'll wind up going by myself since i work odd hours and days and can't really get anyone to steadily go with me. let me know, please! i love lisa!

Nice to 'meet' you Tom! I am actually going with my friend and her dad on business, so they don't have the exact dates, but they said late October so I am very excited. I think it is most likely going to be the weekend of the 20th because I know it is a weekend.

I know...oops! Yes, I have heard nothing but good things about her so I can't wait. Her voice seems amazing and apparently she has a very good interpretation of the role as well.

Yeah Lisa's portrayal is principle worthy...it's simply amazing! Her voice is killer..I just loved her when I saw her. If you see her you will be so lucky!

i've heard that her interpretation is one of the best so far, i loved all of those i've seen, ana and julia seem to "get" elphie more than eden and saycon did for me, i'm hoping lisa proves to be just as stellar if not better than i've heard

I saw Lisa twice. And OMG, she was awesome both times. I just totally love her.

I'm going in late October, I'm really excited! It'll be my 3rd time seeing the show and my 2nd time seeing Lisa as Elphie! She's fantastic!

that's what i'm hoping, i've heard some clips of her singing and i'm blown away...i'll use the example of ana and julia, i didn't like either of their voices when i heard recordings but to hear and see them live floored me, so i'm hoping the trend lives up and i'm twice as floored by lisa!

When I saw Lisa I was floored by her voice but I was even more floored by her acting. I couldn't believe a standby looked so comfortable in the role. She's definatly principle worthy in every way...everyone join the Lisa Brescia Fans group on facebook:)

I saw Lisa for the first time this past Saturday (matinee) and was absolutely blown away by her performance. I went back on Sunday to try to win the lottery so I could see her again. I didn't win, but a woman I met on line sold me her ticket. Lisa was even better on Sunday (which I didn't think possible considering how wonderful she was on Saturday).

Lisa is supposed to be on on Sunday,right? Because I'm going to Wicked Day (I think!) And I would really like to lotto to see her! So, she's supposed to be on?

Yep! Lisa will definately be on unless something bizarre happens (and if that happens she'll let me know) so she should definately be on. (And I'll be there too!)

Could you possibly do a full review of the show?

Both the Saturday and Sunday matinees were pretty typical (and, of course, amazing) so I am not sure what I would write in a review. There were no real bloopers or things that stood out. Here are a few things I can highlight:

I was just mesmerized by Lisa... I can't even explain why. I thought Michael Seelbach did a great job as Fiyero. He was a great singer and dancer and is cute! Annaleigh Ashford was adorable. I had seen her last Tuesday night and loved her and she's even gotten better since then. Her voice is beautiful and she is really making the part her own. Lori Ann Ferreri was on as Nessa. She's not my favorite Nessa... mostly, I think because I am used to Nessa looking somewhat frail, and Lori Ann looked strong.

Lisa gave the BCEFA speech at the end of both performances. I heard her tell someone at the stage door Saturday that she was more nervous about doing that speech than about being Elphaba. I also noticed that Lisa was incredibly kind to people at the stage door... especially a few little girls who said they were aspiring actors. Annaleigh Ashford was also really nice at the stage door, as was Lenny Wolpe.

If anyone has specific questions about either show, let me know and I will try to answer them.
