1. Helen Dalli (a lot of people don't like her but she does the best Glinda transition EVER! Don't judge unless you have seen her live)

2. Kate - She was fantastic, although a little over the top.

1. Megan - She's amazing every time! 'Nough said. (sorry, but I - and many others - don't think it's over the top or over-acting)
2. Annalene - It was evident to me that she has clearly watched/listened to many other Glindas and took little things from each of them to help her develop what I thought was a wonderful style and she brought some flair to London, I thought. She was a nice surprise to see.
3. Helen - I love her as a person OFF the stage, and she has a few moments during the show that she makes hers w/ classic facial expression or body language, but for the most part, I'm not a fan. Even after 6 times, I found her to be bland. But don't get me wrong, please. Don't kill me. She still works hard and all. It's just my opinion.

I very much agree except I haven't seen Megan.

Helen has her moments but to me, something is missing from the whole package. Annalene just had it.

I really can't choose. I think Annalene and Helen both play the character very differently and they've both got the acting perfect for their 'kind' of Glinda... if that makes sense.

1st.) Kendra- acting-wise, she seems the most 'real' to me as Glinda. And she's so bookverse sometimes, it's insane.
*and in a very close*2nd.) Megan- I've seen her 3 times live, and I've loved her everytime.

3rd: Katie Adams- I'm sorry to all who like her, I was not impressed by her Glinda AT all. I found her acting to be over the top, and it just wasn't my thing.

It's extremely close between Kristin and Katie and between Kate and Laura.

Jennifer Laura Thompson: She played the role so well, she made the change from giddy school princess to the glittering beacon of hope with sadness in her eyes so well, that and her voice put her at the top of my Glinda list.

Christina DeCicio: She was completely charming in the first Act as the princessy Galinda but her change into Glinda was fierce and wonderfully unexcepted due to her ease in Act I. She certainly impressed me.

Megan Hilty: I love her to death, and she's very comedic and her Act 1 Galinda is probably my most favorite besides Jennifer Laura Thompson. Her Act 2 was powerful, but not as powerful as Christina.

Helen Dallimore: She made me believe everything she did, she was very bookverse at times, & that made me love her even more. She made that change from a pretty young stuck-up school girl to the girl who lost everything in the end, & she made me believe her. I struggle with that in my Glinda's. & she knew how to make people laugh, & that riff. *pats*

Dianne Pilkington: Again a fabulous Glinda, quite different to Helens, she has good comic timing & she also makes that change SO well, I love her Act 2 more than Act 1, she breaks my heart everytime during IMTGR, she is just so believeable. I had to choose Helen over Dianne because well she IS Glinda for me, but I love Diannes & it was pretty close.
