Hi!!!! My choir/voice teacher at school is taking time this semester to "delve into our 'hidden voices'" :roll: and therefore is having guys sing girls songs and vice versa (the point is to expand range and grow in vocal technique... I immediately wanted to do something from Wicked, but the girl's songs are all complete powerhouses that I don't have the stregnth behind my high range to do justice just yet.... therefore, I don't know which song to pick!!!! Attached is a link with me singing snippets from the WaI, DG, and NGD... It's a bit scratchy, but hopefully, choosing one of these songs to work on will help me grow vocally ... Could you all listen and maybe provide feedback on which (or another song entirely) that I should work on for my "exploratory" piece... Thanks SO much!!!! :ha: :ha:

It didn't work for me...

I would sing NGD. That's what I can sing best out of all the girl Wicked songs. I can sing Defying Gravity pretty well.

I would love to sing WAI but I dont think me calling myself a girl and Elphaba would go well!!! HAHA :ha:
