Personally, I like Norbert but I haven't heard Derrick yet.

I personally voted for David! Not because of his voice, but because to me he has the look and the attitude haha. I'd say Joey is a close second though!

im complicated when it comes to Fiyero's!lol! I have seen all of them live except Norbert. I think norbert did a wonderful job singing and acting but personally feel he was too old to play the part. I like David Ayers looks for the part, Derrick Williams singing, and Joey's acting. But overall the best one i've seen live would have to be Joey.

Out of these: Norbs, with Derrick a close second.

joey was the first fiyero I saw, I was disappointed because in ALAYM he totally screwed up the modulation when it went from her singing to him singing, he couldnt find his note for at least a line. and they loweredx the key for him, which means he didnt have to go as high as all the other fiyeros (i know because i have perfect pitch and it urched me!)

instead of complaining about everyone Im just going to say I think norbert was the only person that could portray fiyero well enough lol, I havent seen derrick though and Im looking foward to!

OMG Norbert with flying colors.....I didnt really like David's voice , Joey was good but not quite Norbert...and Derrick is good but also not close to Norbert!!

I saw Derrick and actually really disliked him. Maybe he was having an off night but I've heard audios of him elsewhere and I still can't stand him. Am I alone in this?

He is very nice looking, he is a sweetie, he has a great comedic timing, he's hilarious during DTL. And, he has the nicest voice, like ever! (well, besides Patrick Wilson) :rock:

I saw David 2 times and his understudy Oliver something once. Personally I think David is HOTTTT and can act and dance- but, I do not care for his singing.

I've only ever seen David live, and he's hot and played the role fantastically, but the singing just wasn't there. And in a role like this, you need an amazing voice!

I agree 100% with everything you said about Norbert

Yeah, I saw a video with him. He was amazing with the acting but his singing took awhile to grow on me.

I think vocally, Norbert is the strongest. The notes were just "there" for him, very natural. David however, I feel had the look and the personality of a Fiyero. So I like both of them because they both bring different qualities with them to the show.

Awww I love David...I think he's the best Fiyero. He's definitely got the right look and everything to him. :bow: Although I have only seen him, but I've heard recordings of everyone else...I just love his take on the role.

The first time I saw David I was like, I think I built him up way toooo much. He looked the part and was really good on the acting (although, he's acting was more effective the 2nd and 3rd time I saw him) but his singing just wasn't doing anything for me. But I did see Jared Bortz and compared to him, David’s voice was amazing!

I have to say Joey on this one.It was between him and David though and I had a hard time deciding.

I disliked David...was strong enough....and Joey wasn't great either

I think that Norbert has the voice plus he originated it...but...I think that Derrick has a great voice and looks more of the part than what Norbert did. David is pretty cute though.
