I first I had seen a clip of him and didn't think he was a very good singer, but now I have found"ways" of hearing him and I think he did a really awesome job in As Long As You're Mine. I think he's better than Norbert and Derrick, but I haven't heard Joey McIntyre before.

I saw Joey on braodway and I thought he was the best.....he fit that "Popular boy" look and attitude.

Hmm, is he closer to Tenor or Bass?

um......I am trying to remember. I listen to the c.d. alot but I have only heard Joey once.

I personally think he sounds like Norbert but with a little bit more of a "cocky" voice.

I think he is the best, but I still have to see Derrick live before I can judge him.

I love his acting and his looks as Fiyero. Norbert will always be the best, though. But I am going all the way to NY to see Dave, but not really, cause I just found out he is leaving broadway before I can see him.

You haven't seen him yet? I saw him like a month ago (first time in NY, frist time seein' Wicked! :humpy: ROFL ) and some people don't like him. They say he can't sing 'n stuff, but I think he's stupendous! lol

I think he is stupendous too. And no, I haven't seen him yet because as of last week, I discovered WICKED.

You just discovered Wicked last week? I have known about Wicked since March because everybody at my school knows what Wicked is. My English teacher (for the Gifted and Talented Program) took her classes to New York and they saw Wicked on Broadway(Shoshana and JLT). A good chunk of the school is in her class because she teaches all grades, so now everyone knows about it. I am a freshman this year so unfortunately I didn't get to go, but next year we may be going to Chicago and she said we might see Wicked when we go there because she loves it. She even has one of the autographed Wicked posters that they sold for charity hangning up in her room!

Yeah, my choir is going to go see it on broadway (they get to see Dave) and I am not in Choir. GRRRRR.

I can't tell you. If I could get tickets the way I hope to, no one else would be able to. Me getting the tickets would be a one time thing. Like I said, it is not illegal and I'll tell you if I got the tickets or not once I get a response.

Well, I know this much. The Fiyero? Not so much. I think he's played...was it...Dr. Dillamond before? Someone...but he's not very attractive. In my opinion. Not Fiyero ...er..."ish" :roll:

The new Fiyero will be Jeffery Kuhn, who originally played Boq. He is not Fiyero like for me.

I really don't think someone who played Boq could play Fiyero. They just aren't alike at all. Boq is not cocky. And Nessarose couldn't be Elphaba. Their voice ranges are so off. I mean, Nessarose has to have that evil quality for WWoTE but be nice the whole rest of the play, same as Elphie, I guess. I don't know.

Well, Jenna Leigh Green often goes on as Elphaba and she's been getting rave reviews lately Actors take different parts all the time, if Idina Menzel can do Maureen and Elphaba, who couldn't be more different, surely someone who played Boq could manage Fiyero... it's that it's just the same show, that's all.

i think Michelle would make a great Elphaba. Her voice is very mature sounding and she can sing sweetly in DTL and get really angry in WWotE, i don't think her playing Elphaba would be a problem. :wee:

I think Michelle would be a good Elphaba. she has been there a while, so she would kno alot about the part. But Boq as Fiyero...thats just WRONG...especially jeffery kuhn, i saw him and he was not fiyero-ish @ all...tisk tisk

I think Jeffrey Kuhn isn't...i don't know, cocky enough. He just doesn't LOOK the part either. Norbert and Derrick, and David LOOK like Fiyero, but who knows. I'll be seeing Jeffrey when I go, so I guess I'll see if he can do it or not.

elven_ringbearer why don't you think Michelle would make a good Elphaba? Jenna plays Nessarose and she is an Elphaba understudy. I think Michelle needs a bigger part so we can see her onstage more!

Michelle is an amazing Nessarose, and I just can't see her as Elphaba. She has been Nessarose too long, I think. Jenna just started as Nessrose, and I can't really see her as Nessarose, she should have been Elphie from the beginning.
