because im starting to think that my obsession with Wicked would freak me out if i was in their place. LOL :ha:

I would be flattered...it would get creepy/scary if people started stalking me though, lol...it depends how far they took it

But IDK... I've never really been the source of idol-worship and I'm not quite sure I could handle it if I were. But I'm sure I'd be happy knowing that people like me as a person and appreciate me for my work. At the end of the day, that's what counts.

I would think I was dreaming and expect to wake up the next morning with a crappy office job living the ordinary life I'm trying to avoid.

Then when I find out the next morning that I'm not dreaming, I would be quite flattered.

Same here! I know though if I ever do get into a musical I would be in the ensemble cause I am no Elphaba when it comes to singing so the fame thing would not really have that big of a shock factor!

Yea, agreed with the stalking. But I think t-shirts and bracelets are ok, and I would love it! I just wouldn't want somebody emailing me every few hours. I email Steph frequently, but not overly so.

There was that one instance with the girl on Idina's doorstep...

But I dunno WHAT I'd really think, haha. With some things, I'm sure I'd be creeped out, but with others I'd be flattered. I guess you don't really know til you're in that position.

I think it would be flattering.At least I'd know someone liked what I was doing.
In other ways it might be kinda weird that all these people you don't know are obsessing over you.
I guess as long as you don't follow them home or try to sneak into their luggage something then it's cool. :ha:

I think it would be especially weird/hard if you were never an obsessive fan about anything. I know I totally have an obsessive personality so I could understand how people could get obsessed . When i like something I LOVE it, but some people aren't that way.

If you've never been a die hard fan of something- it would seem strange to watch others think of you that way. Does that make sense?

I think at first I would be very grateful and flattered.
By the end, I think I will still be grateful, however I would want some space. I mean, c'mon now... being barraged with fan mail day after day and people always asking you to sign, or talk to do something... it get's overwhelming.

If I ever become famous, I think I would love the attention. At least to an extent. As everyone else has said, having a stalker or crazed fans would scare me.

But I would love to get letters and drawings. I think that is a very sweet thing for fans to do.

I have given this quite a lot of thought. To the point of writing a story that puts me on Broadway in a show, but never mind that what I was going to say is that I would love if people looked up to me. I think if one person came up to me and said "You changed my life.... thank you." I think it woudl all be worth it. If I could make a positive difference in someones life then I would have done a good thing.

But this is never going to happen to me because I'm a tecky!! And no one looks up to the teckies because if you can see them then they arn't doing their job!! LOL

Techies rock!! Without techies, the songs and the numbers and everything would be nothing. Without techies there would be no emphasis on the whole story line! And there'd be no working mics and problems with all that other stuff and then nobody would be able to hear/see clearly what their "idol" is doing up on stage!

I'll be your techy!! I tried the whole preforming onstage thing. Didn't really work to well. Well at least I don't think it did. Every one else said I was great. But being a techy is so much easyer. Note that I didn't say less stressful!! LOL

I would be flattered. I really love when people make things for me. When I did some student-teaching the children made birthday cards for me and I still have them. It was very touching.

I would love to have people who worship me the way people on this forum (like blockheads) are insane fans. As long as i dont get stalkers.
