Do yall think Eden looks like Idina in some respects. I think so but it may just be me.
Wicked_elphie
I think her voice resembles Idina a lot in some parts. But that's just me... some ppl say that ehr voice sounds like Sho's sometimes... but i don't think so. I haven't seen her live, so no idea about her performance
broadwaybabe87
Maybe a little... I can see where you are coming from completely!

Especially the headshots!
bobert5353
I think they look the same!
ForGood
They're both beautiful, but I don't really think they look the same.

When I first heard Eden, I thought that she sounded more like Idina than anyone else.
greenified32
Well, during her standby days....she was trying to sound like her- when the show was advertised under the stars names, it was custom for the understudies to sound like the actual actors- to lessen the chance of people wanting a refund becuase an actor was out.

I think Eden is great...she has been trying new things from the beginning. I mean, nobody thought of going up on that part of "The Wizard and I" ...very brave in my opinion. Yay Eden. I don't think that her DG is all that special though....just from following in Sho's amazing DG footsetps its not all that great in comparion.

Look-wise? Not really.
Here's Eden DG http://youtube.com/w/Eden-defying-gravity%...amp;search=eden

(I think she sounds like Idina but the riff at the end has to go)
shibby
for some reason the clip won't load in both of the links you posted :-(

maybe there's something wrong with youtube

EDIT: i got it to work! thanks, i've never seen a vid of eden, lots of bootleg sound clips but no vids.

i love her riff at the end cause it's so different than the others and it really shows off that high belt that she has
Candleshoe07
That riff at the end was proabaly not meant to sound like that, because I've heard her do so much better! Have you heard her new ending? It's excellent!

i second emily's ditto...if that makes any sense

I think both of them are great, but not similar in looks or in sound. Eden, in my opinion, has more of a gospel-sound and more control on her higher notes. Idina, I think has a more rock/alternative type of voice and has less control on her high notes, but belts like no one else belts.
Galinda
In some ways Eden does resemble Idina. I think that's initially why she was her understudy - because they were so close in a lot of ways. But they clearly have different talents and ranges.
Chenzel
Thanks for the vid. Eden does sound a lot like Idina and the riff as to go.
chaser500
Eden's voice can get kind of deep sometimes too....she has a very wide range. And yes, try some new endings there, Eden!
Vari*Wicked
i think she sounds like idina occasinally but looks nothing like her. And from the last i saw.....horrible in green.

I hope she ditched that awful DG riff (is its even considered a riff lol) that alone is one of the main things that drew me away from her. I think she needs to stick to the written music. Not all actors.and actresses are great at rifffs even some of idina were terrible. But at least idina changed them when they were Eden used that same DG garbage for a long time. And she does some weird crap in TWAI when she says "Feeling things i never felt"

echh!

yeah i agree. but idina used to be able to hit high notes when sh was a soprano--but i think when she stopped doing classical and more of her own thing she kinda lost her higher notes. but she still has amazing control over her voice. if u listen to any of her concert clips where she randomly belts out singing its amazing.
