I'm pretty sure they'll recond one, since the show's being performed in German and my guess is that Germans are going to want their own cast recording.

One random question, not sure if best placed here... Does anyone know if the alternates will be going on during the week at all or only if the leads are off! I ask as I am wondering to book tickets for two shows and would like to see leads and alternates!! Who knows this could be the beginings of several trips to Germany to see the show

alternates usually play 1 or 2 performances a week in german shows - but no word yet on the schedule of the Wicked alternates....

I'm so in love with Frei und Schwerelos... it's fantastic. I'm pretty positíve, that her No Good Deed will be one of the most powerful ones that I've ever heard. Her voice ist beautiful, hands down.
And Lucy... my God, isn't she great? Can't wait to see her floating in in her bubble dress, with the blonde curly wig on her head. It's going to be awsome!

Don't forget that this is only a promotional recording and not the actual cast recording. As far as I know, they used the OBCR backings for the promo CD for reasons of time and logistics. But on the Original German Cast Recording they'll rerecord the orchestrations. I'm pretty sure about that. So don't worry

"Wie ich Bin" sounds verrrrry beautiful. "Frei und schwerelos" also sounds fantastic.

I hope it's true that the full recording has new orchestrations. Also...wouldn't it be fantastic if it were the first official recording to include the "It's not her, it's me" portion?

Wow! Defying Gravity sounds so powerful in German. Thier is just something extra special about it. I lived in Germany for three years and this is another good reason to go back.
