I heard rumors about Eden having an audition with Evita, and if she gets that role then I'm assuming she'll leave Wicked pretty quickly to get to London and whatnot. But my question is, how early do the principle characters usually announce any kind of vacation time they're taking? Just asking because I bought tickets to Wicked for July 18th for the main purpose of seeing Eden, and I'd like to know ahead of time if that was going to work out.

No, I know when she's leaving .. that's not what I meant. What I meant is, more often than not major cast members give notice when they're taking a leave of absence for vacation days or whatnot. I was wondering if they do this a month in advance or how long it takes so I know what to expect when I'm going up.

It was common with Idina and Kristin. Everyone needs time off.

Eden works her bumbum off so she's entitled to a vacation, but not on June 29th!

I remember Idina took time off in June '04 to film Ask the Dust... I went for my bday to see Idina - got Eden instead - SHE ROCKED! No regrets! What's with June vacations? Maybe b/c it's right before summer hits when EVERYONE wants to go and see the STARS of the show

She doesnt have a year contract like they normally do. So if she does take time off, I dont think it will be much. Maybe a week or so. But she has already done the audition for Evita and I think it has been confirmed that she did not get the role. If she had received the role then she would be leaving in April.

Eden did not get the role in Evita and will be staying in Wicked until October.

Aww she didn't get it? Well at least she gets to stay with us!
