Hi everyone! My name is Danielle, I'm 19, and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. I'm a student at Cal State University East Bay (used to be Hayward, no idea why they changed the name), studying to be a labor and delivery nurse.

Um, I have NO idea why I didn't join this forum sooner, because while I'm new to this board, I'm certainly no stranger to Wicked. I've read both books -- Wicked and Son of a Witch -- several times. To be honest, though, I prefer the musical. It's much happier, haha. I'm a repeat offender when it comes to the show, too; my Visa moves of its own accord whenever I see Wicked on Ticketmaster. I've seen:

Idina (and the OLC) in London, twice: November 24th (evening) and 25th (mat), 2006

Eden and Megan in LA, three times: March 1st (evening), November 3rd (mat AND evening), 2006

Julia and Kendra in NYC, once: July 27 (evening), 2006

I plan on attending Eden's last few shows, and also seeing SJB and/or Lisa Brescia later this winter. Because clearly spending upwards of $1000 on tickets for this show was not enough.

Umm what else. I have a lot of animals (3 dogs, a cat, a horse, a bunny, a parrot, a cockatiel, and two parakeets). I'm the oldest of four kids, and the younger ones have NO appreciation for musical theater. *headdesk* Speaking of which, my other favorite musicals are The Last Five Years, BKLYN, Les Miserables, RENT, and Spring Awakening, among others.

Yeah... I'm having huge OLC withdrawals, as it nears my 1 month anniversary of seeing them. So much drama involving that trip -- Idina, of the impeccable attendance record, was out sick with bronchitis in the week leading up to the day I was supposed to see her, and she was the reason for the whole trip. I went to the box office that Friday morning when I was supposed to see her, and the ticket vendor said she would be out until Monday at the earliest, which meant I wouldn't get to see her. But being stubborn as she is, she went on that whole weekend despite being sick (so as not to disappoint the Thanksgiving crowd of Americans who had come out specifically to see her) and she pushed herself twice as hard to make up for being sick. One of the best performances of her career. Needless to say, I was in tears from the time she ran out until curtain call, haha. Omg so much love.

I got goosebumps reading that, Danielle. In my humble opinion, Idina truly is amazing.
