sorry, couldn't find a topic on this so thought I'd just ask on here. There was loads of talk in the summer about Miriam joining Wicked on Broadway in January but then I haven't seen or heard anything official yet. Does anyone know if that is still on the cards?

Going to NY in Feb and wondering if I should book tickets or not. Have Wicked on my doorstep here in London, so unless Mirrrrrrrrriam is in it, I will probably go and see something else instead! lol

Yes I for one would like to know too as I am heading there too in February...... OOOH Hello Sagom... perhaps I will see you in NY...... Oh wait I will as I am going with you yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

Thats wonderful!! I saw her in London and she was so amazing! She is exactly the Madame Morrible I imagined!

I know that if Miriam goes on with Stephanie and Annaleigh, not even the cost will stop me from heading to NYC.

The Wicked website includes Carole Shelley in the list of people they say will be with the cast through April. So if Miriam is indeed joining the company, it won't be until then at the very least.

Miriam was on the Graham Norton show again last night... and when he introduced her he said something about "she's headed for Broadway to do wicked" dont quote me exactly to it but i KNOW broadway and wicked were mentioned in the same sentence. I will re-watch it on the repeats on sunday!

Im off to NYC in Feb aswell - already booked my tickets - i cannot wait to see Steph and Anneligh, so it'd be amazing if Miriam was there too...(although part of me REALLY want's too see Carole - the whole *clinging to the obc* lol)

I sort of wanna see Carolle aswell, as im going to NY in July 08, and seeing Super Short, Super Cool Miriam 5 times, i sorta want to see someone else..

WOW, enjoy her guys. I can't count how many times I have been i tears from laughter just from watching her in the London production. She is really one of a kind. Look out for her flirting with the wizard, a lot of forgetting lines and random ad-libing LOL.

Miriam is absolutely amazing and Broadway is so lucky to have her. I second what Bubbleboy said.

I always suspected the the Wizard and Madame Morrible were sleeping together. Miriam confirmed it right there.

I'm not expecting to see her character, just Miriam. I'm seriously excited. I find Carole Shelley and Carol Kane scary as Morrible, I hope I make 3 out of it.

I was lucky enough to see Miriam play Morrible in London. She was excellent. Didn't really sing - at least didn't that night - but then again, neither did Rue McClanahan on Broadway.

Anyway, Miriam was wonderful in the role and I'd like to see her again in it.

Haha its funny you guys talk about them getting their freak on because when I went with my friends a few months ago,
when they said the line "If you do something for him..he will do MUCH for you.." She turns and looks at me with this hilarious look like she wanted to vomit. SO funny!

Yep, I always thought that line was Wicked's equivalent of Chicago's "When you're good to Mama"....

I so cannot wait for February to come......... friends and I are coming over to see Miriam!! She is simply the best morrible ever!!

so miriam starts tuesday and my brother and i splurged on partial view tickets for tuesday!! i really hope she doesn't take off for her first show, i'd be disheartened! does she miss a lot? i haven't read much about her on london boards.

I adore this woman, she is such an unbelievably lovely person. You are so lucky to get her on Broadway.

In the videos she speaks on "adult" themes, nothing really bad, but just warning you.

I might have said this before but at London Cast Change in July she said to my friend who was taking a pic of me and Miriam "I hope you're faster in bed than you are at taking a picture"

She doesn't usually miss many shows, and surely won't miss her first, so you should be fine.
And she'll better be there when we come in Feb as I will sell my ticket othewise. Not really that bothered about seeing it on Broadway, just wanna see the muck-up queen.
