hmmm because i can't get her to add me...how long ago did you add her? I've tried twice.

Anyone know what her standing is with Wicked? I really wish she would do the 2nd tour... please no Marcie comments. I don't believe anything unless it comes from the horses mouth. Anyway... she is gorgeous! Here's my "Wicked" theory, since they have stand-bys... I think if they have someone who is good enough to take over, for example: Caissie... go figure, I think what could work well for someone who has alleged vocal problems is to have alternates. Some one who goes on either 6 day a week and someone who goes 2 day a week or maybe an equal split of 4 and 4. Jersey Boys and Phantom do similar things. I just think they could eliminate a stand-by and have equal leads. That would certainly get rid of the "Julie/Broadway" debacle. It would help those whom weren't given the chance to fully take over. I know they have had true leads for 5 years but Caissie seemed to good to throw away.... and we all know her contract wasn't for only some 5 odd months. (I heard that her voice wasn't the reason why she left but from what I also heard she seemed to slow down in endurance. But I just don't want to intrude.) I hope hope hope we see her again in Wicked.

I saw something a couple months ago and it was Caissie saying that the surgery she had was to improve her endurance so that she did not lose her voice as much. I honestly could not tell you where I saw it though because I do not remember at all.

As for her standing, I'm not sure. I messaged her the other day about making the site I have for her on myspace official and she messaged me back. I haven't responded saying thank you yet so I was going to try and slide it in there by saying I hope I see her green again or at least performing in something somewhere soon. She has too much talent to fade into the background. Did anyone ever consider she might go back to the rent tour as maureen? I'm not sure if that part has been cast or not. Just a possibility, probably not likely.

Actually, I hope Caissie goes go back to RENT. I don't much care for her Elphaba, but she's a very good Maureen.

I would have to agree. I love her very much as Elphie, but I would be thrilled to see her in something else.

Nicolette Hart is already confirmed as Maureen on tour, and Caren Lyn Manuel is already Mark's Mom (to be 1st cover Maureen), so Caissie couldn't join the RENT tour. I wish she would though....

bah. I saw nicolette on broadway, I wanted to see someone different.
I had a feeling that the part was already cast though, i just didn't know for sure
