Me and my family are planning a trip into Germany in August.
Does anyone know if Wicked will still be on then or is there a chance that it might be on? I've looked and so far it is only booking until July.
Is there another production due to move into the theatre or is there a chance that Wicked will extend?
I would hate to go and then find out that I've missed it by a month.

From what I have heard its praticaly selling out each night....so I dont think its gonna go anytime soon. Once it gets to March I'm sure they will announce the new block of seats.

Thanks. That puts my mind at rest. I was just checking that it wasn't one of those shows that is only there for a certain amount of time and has a closing date already.

The show will be continued. I think they release tickets for August seats February 1st.

I wonder if it's just a two year thing or if they'll wait and see how well it's doing a year from now.

The current employment contracts of the actors are valid for one year. So if they do the show another year in Stuttgart, then there will be new castings in summer. If the current success of the show continues, I think they do the show for at least one year.

BTW: In vacation time (july to september) there often are special summer-deals.

Are you just going to go to Stuttgart or are you gonna visit other cities too?

Visiting a few other cities too. My parents wanted to visit Germany and I insisted on a stop in Stuttgart for obvious reasons.
