Hello everyone, Im going to Ft. Lauderdale next week for springbreak, and I was wondering what are the chances of me getting a lotto ticket win? Help would be gladly appreciated, the funny thing is though that I've seen Wicked already twice; Once in Chicago and once in LA but the thing is I planned on going to Ft. Lauderdale before Wicked was going there.. Wicked follows me haha!

it just all depends on how many people enter. good luck though! =]

/sorry. Good Luck at winning!

When I went to see it on the 20th in Ft. Lauderdale, there were like 15 people at the lotto maximum. It really all depends on what day you're going, and how popular the lotto has gotten.

haha kate i do miss you too.. its just ive been way to busy lately and havent been on this site in a long long time to note. But you said only 15 people!? thats great chances for me then haha well im going to be there a week so ill get more then one chance and its only 3.5 miles away from my hotel so thats good.. also they have it so that the shows are at 8 or 7:30 on sunday so i guess im going to have to do it then.. and how many tickets do they give out does anyone know? Ive never done lotto before I usually just pay in advance but like I said I had no clue that Wicked was going to be in Ft. Lauderdale..

Depending on how early on in the run Ft. Lauderdale is, you'll have a better chance of winning. For me, the first week in Cleveland, only 12 of us showed up, so we all won. During Wicked's final week in Cleveland, nearly 80 started packing in. Lucky for me, a snowstorm kept people home and I won a second time.

I'm pretty sure a snowstorm won't come your way. Oh, and don't get there exactly at the time the lotto opens. Because then you wait around for a VERY nerve-wrecking thirty minutes.

^ And, it doesn't really make a difference if you get there the second the lotto opens. It's not first come first serve, so if you get there before the employees that work it do, it doesn't affect your chances in a positive way. But I'm not saying put your name in a second before they pick the winners. Just thought I'd put in something on that.

Hope you win, Eric! This cast is phenomenal.

^ Exactly. It makes really no difference.

They will tell you when they actually start. They have to wait for the box office to tell them. The number is somewhere around 20-26. You can buy one or two tickets, your choice. Obviously an off day increases your chances. Friday night, Saturday and Sunday will have a lot of people.
