I need Willemijn to play Elisabeth again somewhere that ensures we get her on a cast recording.

Unfortunately I do not see that happening soon... there are no plans to bring Elizabeth back to The Netherlands (they made some sort of official statement about that). She could join the German production (which is still there, right?) but then I doubt if she would get "her own" cast recording

On the other hand, if she's not tired of playing Elphaba and the producers aren't completely out of their mind... she might play Elphaba in Scheveningen after Mary Poppins is closed?

My reaction was more like "rofl", but ok.

Ahh the memory...Willemijn was FABULOUS!! My fave murderess was she! Apologies still in the process of writing up my full review of BOM in the German thread...will do this week. Now share that 'Verkaikian Pride' in seeing her live! LOL kept saying to my friend who was with me....."There's my girl!"

I kind of want to ask which merry murderess she was... but then on the other hand, being surprised would be a fun thing too! xD

One plus of not seeing Willemijn for the Stuttgart Wicked finale; had Stage not pulled her...I probably would not have seen BOM! I LOVED IT!! A highlight of my trip, and wish I had of booked a second show while in Berlin....ahhhhh the lament of hindsight!

... she's going to record "Watch me Soar" with Scott Alan AND is performing in his September 26 (?) concert in London!!! (but of course I cannot be there )

(and because I believe there are also quite some Pia Douwes fans here, I wanted to share that she will be playing Killer Queen in We Will Rock You in Utrecht next year. Yay!)

I heard about that! I thought the concert was going to be in NY at first, and I had convinced my mom to fly me out for one night just to see it. ...And then we found out it was London. SO SAD I won't be able to see her! The fact that she's recording with Scott makes it all better

I was reading my newspaper this morning when I saw an article about Wicked in Holland! Still can't believe it's really happening!
