ah I splurged and bought a ticket for Annaleigh's last. So I'll be seeing the show twice in a week. I'm crazy...and broke.

I just saw the show twice yesterday and I have a ticket for what was supposed to be Annaleigh's last plus a ticket for her real last day,Steph's last day and Kerry's first night. I'm basically seeing the show every other week until Kerry's first show. I'm seeing it in Chicago at the end of May also. I guess I join you in the crazy department.

ummmmm I have no idea how reliable this information is but someone heard from a cast member recently (like within the past few days) that Annaleigh extended until September.

Idthink thats a good pair at all, theyre both great dont get me wrong but idthink this will be one of Wickeds better casts if indeed this is true.

I think its just because I like them so much on their own, I didn't consider their chemistry and whatnot.

Eh, if the rumour about Annaleigh extending until September is true, I don't really think Kerry and her would make an excellent pair, but no one really knows it's true until it's confirmed (not saying you're lying), and if it is, I could totally be proven wrong.

Nothing's been confirmed until Annaleigh says so herself. Some people thought Eden would stay with the Los Angeles company till April or May of this year, but she left in December.

If Annaleigh stays, I'll be mad! I'm going in July, and I want to see Kendra! Kerry being there is sort of a letdown. She's a great singer, but from what I've seen, she doesn't put much emotion in anything. Kendra would make it worth it.

I've seen clips of her Fantine. I know you have to see it live for it to have its full effect, but still.

Just curious, how much does a cheap Broadway ticket cost? I hear you guys talking about going twice a week and all that, and I'm like...WHAT? I can barely afford the $20 to go see stuff that comes here. (And I believe $20 is the cheapest available.) My Broadway ticket cost upwards of $100, and it's not even that good of a seat. (I gave up seeing shows for about three years to save up.) You guys must be rolling in the money.

I'm just dying for a Kerry/Kendra partnership. It could be the worst or best Wicked pairing ever Kendra's panty flashes and Kerry's smacking of the flatheads' asses=win.

I'm not a fan of Annaleigh's Glinda in any way, just don't like her take on the character. Loved her in LB though.

I think the worst Wicked pairing ever would be Victoria and Dianne. Anyway, I'm praying for Katie to come to Broadway after she's done with the tour.

I loved Annaleigh, but she doesn't do much to change her performance nightly. With Kendra, each show was something different. And I wasn't a Kendra fan until I saw her in real life, so don't hate if you haven't seen her on Broadway, because she improved A LOT.

IMHO Kendra is only hyper in Popular. and she keeps it down and isn't screaming like a hyina like Megan Hilty. No offense to the Megna lovers I love her to death as well

That would be amazing to see. She would truly deserve it. And, it's very convienent.

(I'd have to find a way to convince my parents she's fantastic, though. The only way my dad would see it again is if it were Idina and Kristin.)

Although I don't really want Kendra to come back (not in an insulting way, just, she was very good, apparently, in "The Receptionist", and she should do something new), since Kerry's coming over, I can really only picture Kendra with her. And not Annaleigh. At all.

I also have to say, although Kendra's not ZOMGmy favorite, she improved a lot during her run on Broadway.

Annaleigh's Glinda is basically Margot, in my opinion she isn't all she's cracked up to be. Furthermore I think it's useless to try and picture people who've never been together as Glinda and Elphaba. People were saying Stephanie and Annaleigh wouldn't work, and, lo and behold, they apparently do.

You have a really good point there. So, you never know unless you see them live together then! And there's been no confirmation Annaleigh will be performing aside Kerry, so... yeah.

I'm so nervous...I splurged on two tickets in orchestra for Kerry's second day and I wanted to see Annaleigh, but apparently I won't.

I know you really wanted to see Annaleigh, but either way you'll be seeing the show. That probably doesn't help much if you really wanted to see her, though. I'm sure it'll be a stellar performance.

Yeah. It's a shame, but I'm so excited. After seeing it on tour in nosebleed seats I finally get to see it on BWAY!

I respect your opinion completely, but I don't think Megan, Caissie and Dianne were mentioned in this thread with the exception of Dianne maybe a few times or have to do with it. I'm not trying to pick a fight, or anything.

Megan and Dianne were both mentioned. I just threw Caissie in, because I felt like I needed an Elphaba.


I would give almost any pairing a chance, though. Excpt, say, Kristen and Ana. *shivers* Just too different.

I like Annaleigh's Glinda a little more than I used to. In other words, I don't think she's completely terrible at all. But she is not my favorite Glinda, and a Kendra/SJB reunion is all I want to see.


And after that...Bring in Carmen and KRC and have a Katie Clarke/David Burnham renunion.
