Going back to what was said before...Natalie or Lea Michele could be likely candidates for B'way...if these "clues" end up being accurate haha..but I'm not 100% sure how I would feel about either of them coming in..guess we'll just have to be patient lol

I think it will be Oprah. A talk show is sort of a reality show, and she definitely needs the money.

I'm sorry for doing that. I just wanted to make a point to those who may have thought it was true. I'm confident the next Elphaba will be:
Kara DioGuardi. She'll be taking Tuesdays and Wednesdays off to do live shows. She also says this will help her finally get a record deal and become a singer.

99% Megan won't be in Wicked SF. She loves doing TV and film and is going to do more of it once she comes back to LA. She loves Wicked obviously, but she CAN get other jobs and will when she comes to LA. Shes super talented and can/should do other things. And she will.
For SF, I'm hoping Natalie takes over, with Alexa as s/b and after Erin, Laura Woyasz takes over!

If you read what was posted on Broadway world she says "Megan said that she will most likely return to Wicked." That doesnt mean she has a contract signed and she IS returning. I wrote a letter to her asking her if she was going to go back to wicked and she said she hopes so. I dont think this means she comming back...it just means she would like to and will most likely do so at some point.

But you have to weigh up Megan Hilty playing Glinda for the umpteenth time against someone potentially new and fantastic.
While it's nice to be able to rely on good performances from old faces, who knows how incredible someone new could be?

^they forgot Caissie, who IMO is the strongest out of all. But seriously, if either Eden or Megan return, I'll pull my eye's out. Dont get me wrong, love em, but it was clear by the end of her first LA run that Eden's voice was being beaten down and the 2nd return, IMO did her in. Another return would surely kill her voice. And also, she just seems like the part is TOO familiar to her, she started turning Elphie into a caricture. I dont know, they just seem like bad choices to me at this point in time.

Guys, recycling is not that uncommon. It's easier on the producer to do so since auditioning is a rather long, grueling processes. And they know the actors/resses are fit for the part. Look at Phantom, Rent, Evita, Lion King and many more that recycle,

I know, I don't hate recycling at all. If someone was really great in the role I would love for them to come back. but recycling over and over again I'm not a fan of, but It does seem like the easier thing for the producers so I'm fine with it.
Still I perfer good Standbys that could handle the role full time to be bumped up

I think people should stop being recycled when they start phoning in, which Megan's been doing in Wicked for years. It was so refreshing to see her in 9 to 5 where she was clearly having a great time.

lol when I saw you ask what it was I wanted to reply saying "Kerry Ellis". I don't think Megan phoned in really. She just got cartoonish and the number of dimensions she gave the character went into negative figures. Kind of the same with Eden.
