Apparently Katie has a few more weeks (I think two) left, after which Natalie will take over.

Kyle also said on his twitter, "By L.A. See You in a few weeks" and he is still listed on the official website. So I guess, he leaves the same day as Katie and will then return to L.A. to do other things.

Is it safe to say that Natalie is taking over for Katie in the upcoming weeks?
Also have we any idea of how long Anne is staying? I'd like to see her in June in Dayton.

I take Natalie becoming the first ever standby for Glinda on a tour to be because of two possibilities, she is taking over soon, or KRC decided to extend and they brought her to cover, Id go with number 1 as they have two understudies who are capable of doing the role and the producers would most likely be okay with that since they havent had one in the tours 6 year history not to mention they didnt add one to the 2nt and the tours are supposed to be of equal stature.
As for Anne I think she is staying for some time to come, in a recent interview she gave when she said she would read the wicked novel once she was done with the show. But she said "whenever I am done with the show", and to me that doesn't sound like shes leaving anytime soon.

Sometimes a lead can go back to being a standby again for a short amont of time. Dee Rosicioli became a standby again in San Francisco while Vicki Noon was taking over the role due to Teal being sick. I am guessing that Natalie will take over for Katie eventually.

Dee was an emergency back up as was Carrie Manolakos. Donna Vivino is a perfect example to use here as she was lead on the tour then went back to being standby.

I don't think Natalie Daradich will be staying much longer. I also don't think that having a Glinda standby will become a regular thing for either tour.

Maybe this is wishful thinking, but could Nicole Possibly make a return once Mamie leaves? On Mamie's website, she lists her tour stops and it looks like Denver (April to May) is her last one. That is, if she does not extend or something like that. Oh well, just thinking out loud!

Mamie has said that she is staying with Wicked until May, so I think that Denver is her last stop. I doubt Nicole would return, especially on tour.

I would not rule out a return from Nicole and I believe she did say she would come back some day but as swankified said she would probably not return on tour. I also don't think Alli will be on the tour that long...I think she will be gone by summer.

Looks like Katie and Kyle played their final show in Tempe on Sunday, the 19th according to this person at Broadway World:
QUOTE
Katie and Kyle left the show Sunday night. I was there for their last show and it was clearly emotional. Katie and Mamie had hard time getting through For Good, Kyle's voice cracked emotionally during As Long As You're Mine, and Katie was crying in her bubble through the last five or so minutes. There was no speech or anything at curtain, but Mamie pulled Katie and Kyle forward to take an extra bow before the three of them had a long group hug as the curtain went down. I ran into Katie before the show and she said she was leaving right after the show, but Kyle came out and was very sweet at the stage door. What a talented duo- best wishes for them in the future!
Wonder if Natalie will play the role until Alli take over on Friday, the 24th?

The tour won't need a standby now. Alli very rarely misses. Tiffany hasn't missed yet either. Even Chandra doesn't miss that much on Broadway as Kate has only done a handful of shows.

Shes not rejoining the cast, but in a recent interview in which they talked a lot about Wicked all the way from the her ensemble track to bananas, Caissie Levy said she has been asked twice to return to the Broadway cast as Elphaba, but turned it down both times to do ghost and hair in London. She did say she would absolutely come back at some point. I would LOVE to finally see her in the role!

Sorry for the double post, but im seriously confused right now....did Renee Van Wegberg takeover for Willemijn in Scheveningen?
A video was posted that has pro footage of her Defying Gravity, she was given a big bouquet....I dont speak dutch but it seems to me like this was a big occasion for something i just dont know what.

That was Renee's alternate premiere. She's not taking over. The Dutch production has official alternate premieres for both Renee van Wegberg and Celine Purcell, where they get official proshot photos/videos. I wish other productions would do that for standbys.

Some standbys have regularly planned shows each week...Dee Roscioli in Chicago and Zoe Jarrett on the Asia Tour. Other standbys who don't have planned shows still go on 1-2 times per week (Christine Dwyer usually did that many shows per week, as standby).

That may be true but their contract terms are vastly different, as well as their pay. And though some standbys get to perform 1-2 times per week, the dates aren't fixed. (unless, of course, there's a vacation or something of the sort planned.)

No Im not actually, I asked him about it at the stage door the other night and thats what he said the same exact cities that were mentioned in that video. So i took that to mean that he was only going to be in those cities. As we all know things change and people often extend so well see what happens. But he will at least be in those cities.

I would like to correct myself I said his last city was San Diego however Salt lake city comes after San Diego . For now I will just say that he starts in Denver and will be in at least Sacramento, San Diego, then Salt Lake City based on what he said
