Does anyone know when Kendra and Kerry are approximatlly leaving?

^Kerry's due to restart in London on 1st December so she'll have to finish on Broadway at some point before then, probably some time in November.

I would imagine early november, kerry will have to have a short practice with any new cast members as well.

Umm, not that Wikipedia is a completely reliable source, but I feel like I completely missed something here......

The Broadway replacement section of the cast list states the following:
-Jayne Houdyshell will return to the role of Madame Morrible on June 17, 2008.
-Aaron Tveit will replace David Burnham as Fiyero on June 24, 2008.
-Lori Ann Ferrari will replace Cristy Candler as Nessarose on August 26, 2008.
-Timothy Britten Parker will replace Steven Skybell as Doctor Dillamond on September 2, 2008
-Lisa Brescia will replace Kerry Ellis as Elphaba on November 18, 2008.
-Carmen Cusack will replace Lisa Brescia as Elphaba in February 2008.

First off, even if this stuff was true, Carmen wouldn't replace Lisa until February 2009, but anyway...is there any truth to ANY of this? I think the Jayne Houdyshell stuff is correct, but I hadn't heard anything about the other stuff...thoughts?

Timothy Britten Parker left the L.A. company this past Sunday and he is going to Broadway, but that date I'm not sure about.

I know Wikipedia isn't so reliable, but if it's true, this is the best news I've heard all week.

A couple of days ago Wikipedia was saying that Julie would be replacing Kerry with Brandi as standby. Not to mention saying that Ben Liebert was no longer playing Boq. There's new rubbish rumours on there every day!

Dee said herself that she will close chicago, so Ana/Kate reunion is out.

Ya, you're right. Other than the Jayne Houdyshell replacement, all of the other replacement rumors I mentioned above have already been removed....must not take info on Wikipedia so seriously.....

The only true thing on there is Jayne Houdyshell taking over for Miriam. It was on Broadwayworld and Miriam confirmed it at SD on Annaleigh's last. Jayne was there with her also and Miriam told everyone that they are special today since they are seeing 2 Morrible's standing in front of them at the same time...LOL



I would love to see that pair also. Katie Rose is my fav Glinda and I love Lisa also.

I'm sure people get tired of me talking about this all the time, but I really hope Carmen and Katie Rose go to Broadway after the tour. I think they really deserve it. And, if Lisa really does like being standby more, she can do so for Carmen! lol

No, she came back on May 13 and is the official Broadway Glinda again. I don't know when her contract ends.

Rumours plaguing london:

Wicked in London is due to close early next year. Kerry will return to close the show.
It will then embark on a UK Tour.

There were rumors of it closing in February of 2008 and it was announced in September 2007 that the show is still one of the top two grossing shows in the West End every week.

Stanton is contracted through November, so, who knows. Stanton might extend for the last 2-2.5 months of the show. But, who knows?

I also heard something earlier about Erin leaving LA in August for some reason....dunno why. I wouldn't believe it--that's what, 4 months in LA?

^Not true, i think someone told me Erin's current contract is till Sept 24 or something.

I heard she was contracted until the 28th, which is when Teal is contracted till. That makes more sense than Erin leaving in August, which I also heard about, and that she was supposedly returning to Chicago.

Either way, I'm pretty sure she's there until about the 28th.

I coulda swore I heard something about October for Erin. Don't quote me on this, I heard this somewhere, just not sure where. I think I heard it being talked about when I was at the theater on the tenth. Again, this is not credible, but I heard it somewhere.

If Teal and Erin aren't closing out the LA company, then maybe Laura will and if Caissie's doctor says its ok then maybe she can as well.

I guess that would be really great for Caissie if that happened, but I really want Teal to close it. I mean, Caissie is great so I wouldn't be upset, but I'm pulling for Teal.

Erin returning to Chicago? Nope, I don't think it's going to happen... various sources have stated and/or confirmed that Annaleigh will close Chicago with Dee.

And I am about 95% that Teal and Erin will close LA... Maybe the only reason September 28th keep on popping up is because that's where the current block of tickets on sale end and that was Caissie's initial ending date before she left in May. I doubt Erin would stay in LA for merely 4 months, and this is pretty much Teal's first big thing. Why would she end after less than half a year? That's what I have to say on the matter.

Wait if Erin is leaving august, and Lisa is leaving in August...then there is a chance both could go to broadway after current leads leave.
If Erin is Glinda when I go see Kerry I will not see Kerry!

there's also an Elphaba spot open for the second tour. If she can't come back to close LA, I say Miss Julie Reiber takes it.

Aw...I really wish it was true Erin was coming to close out Chicago. I've seriously thought about that, and how I would react, and I can see myself giving her a "welcome back" hug and crying right there in front of her out of happiness.

I do not live in New York, but it is still rather irksome that the last "new" Elphaba was Eden Espinosa in 2006 (I am not counting her brief stint as Elphaba in the SF leg of the Tour). Since then, it was Chicago's Ana, Tour's Julia, Tour's Stephanie, and now London's Kerry. I am around 80% sure the next Broadway Elphaba will be Julie Reiber... unless Victoria, Carmen, Kristy, Caissie, or Teal are suddenly contracted to go. LOL.

So, who do you guys think will replace Kendra? Wikipedia has cited:

Laura Bell Bundy- I dunno. It's a possibility, right? And it'd be nice if she got the role after all these years... but in all fairness, why would she do it after all this time?
Katie Rose Clark- A semi-likely possibility; it'll only happen if we get new leads in the 1st Tour, and Carmen wants to make the move to Broadway as well.
Annaleigh Ashford- Debunked since she's closing Chicago with Dee.

I highlight doubt LBB will ever return to Wicked. What's so unlikely about Katie doing it?
