I heard Dee is having an upper respiratory problem... so I do hope she'll be better soon. It's a shame she has to miss so many shows already, seeing she's just starting her Broadway-run. Hurrah to Jenny for getting more shows however, since Nicole seemed to be such a machine. Hope jenny can handle all those shows! Maybe Chelsea will get another show soon, if Dee is still out by weekend...?

Dee will be fine. She has done this everytime she takes over the role full time. After about 2 or 3 weeks when she took over for Kristy in Chicago she called off for like a week in a half, remember that's when Jen and Dan'yelle got to go on so much, and Carmen made her debut, it was in January. Then when she came back after Lisa took over for her she missed for like a week or two after Jenny did a mid show switch for her after "One Short Day"

I'm sure she just needs to adjust back into the role and get her rhythm back, seeing as this is the third time she has done this. It must be hard to have time off and then do the role 8 times a week so I'm sure her voice is just...well kind of a mix between shock and getting ready. She does put 110% into the vocals so I can see why this always happens when she starts a new contract.

While Dee is out, the show is in great hands with Jennifer DiNoia. I saw her again today and she was amazing in every way... acting, singing, presence, etc.

jen d was on as elphaba...apparently dee was at the building singing backstage and they decided it was a "no-go"

i did not enjoy tony glade as fiyero at all...

actually, i didn't enjoy the entire performance..everyone was blah....it was the first time in the 20 something times i saw wicked that i was wanting to leave..

That's cuz he's a swing, he understudies all of the male roles except Boq if I'm not mistaken.

I was at the show last night. It was nice to see Dee back, although she seemed to be struggling at times. When singing, she was a bit tentative... not singing with the power that she usually does. Maybe, since it was her first night back, she was being cautious. Also, she coughed occasionally throughout the show so she may not yet be 100% better. But... she made it through the full show and people who had never seen her before would probably not know she had been sick.

Jerad as Fiyero was weak. I liked him the first few times I saw him, but the last few times I've seen him, he has been off. It's great that Kyle is coming back soon so they have a strong Fiyero understudy. I've never seen Kyle in the role, but he seems like he'd be perfect!

What did you think of Erin last night?

I thought Erin was very good.

Kyle Dean is a great Fiyero. I have seen him once and he is one of my favorites. Better than Aaron IMO.
