Me and my friend were having this discussion at 4 o'clock the other morning at a sleepover LOL. We were saying we thought Kristen Bell who was in Reefer Madness would be a good Galinda. I also think that Sophia Myles from the tv show Moonlight and from some other things would be a good Galinda. It might just be the blonde though cause I don't know if she can sing or not.

I actually once kept on getting Kristen Chenowith confused with Kristin Bell, so Bell would CLEARLY make a gr8 Glinda.

There was a rumour that Kristen Bell was going to be the next Elle Woods...but I doubt that now because of the TV show!
She would be fab as Glinda

and Natalie Weiss for Elphaba

I think Amy Adams would be a fantastic and hilarious Glinda acting wise, but I think she hardly has the voice for it. She has a pretty decent voice, but its not nearly powerful enough for wicked, or broadway in general for that matter.

You might remeber her from the hit sequel to Annie - the royal adventure. She had a great voice then, but you should hear her now. she just dyed her hair, so you might not recognize her, but after meeting her at a convention in LV, she definetely has the size and poise to be Glinda the good.

I remember when she was in Mrs. Doubtire, and she stole the movie for me. Her dry acting was great. So glad she was able to use that sarcastic once again. Who wold love to see her as Madame Morrible?

I'm sorry, but has anyone seen Natalie Weiss act? Just because she has a good voice doesn't mean she'd be a good Elphaba. Just my opinion.

I've been saying this for years but Bette Midler needs to play Morrible. Can you even imagine?

Midler as Morrible? Huh? She doesn't have nearly enough vocal power for that part. She'd be out of the Gershwin in less than two weeks. Wicked could kill her voice.

Really? Have you seen the Gypsy movie with Bette in it? Vocally, I think she'd be MORE than fine for the part. I don't find Morrible too vocally demanding.

Morrible really doesn't require any vocal power, it's primarily an acting role and Bette has more than enough vocal power for it. And it's not as if we've never had Morribles who couldn't/wouldn't sing. (JoAnne Worley, Miriam Margolyes)

Well I've seen Natalie preform "I'm a Star" and she certianly acted the crap out of that song, so I think she would be a phenomenal elphie. The only thing is that she is really young, maybe in a few years.

I think Paris Hilton or Jessica Simpson would be the perfect Galinda and Jennifer Hudson or Rosario Dawson as Elphaba.

Hadley Fraser as Fiyero--except that 1. it's not a big enough role for him and 2. the guy just...can't dance. I'd just love to see him to pretty much ANYthing; his voice is like...I don't know.
