I haven't heard any rumors...I doubt Julia, and I don't think Kendra will want to jump right back in after her run from the B'way production, whenever she may end.

From what i heard from some LA ensemble:

Almost all of the LA ensemble that's there on 1/11/09 will probably transfer to SF if they choose.
LA sets will be used.
leads might ethe LA standbys or u/s or completely new cast.

I have been told that Teal Wicks will be going to SF.

I wonder if Teal will finish the LA run? I was kinda hoping after Teals contract ends in Sept Marcie would take over and then Teal can come back for SF.

^oh i would like that. i've wanted to see marcie as elphaba. i heard she was great! but yeah, i also heard from behind the emerald curtain that all cast members are welcome to join the SF production if they so choose.

I wouldn't mind Marcie finishing the run, but even better for me would be Julie Reiber making a triumphant return to close out the L.A. production. Doesn't Julie's contract in NYC run out on Sept. 21st? And if I had my choice for a Glinda to finish the run I'd like it to be Emily Rozek. Oh well, I can only hope it will happen.

I would LOVE for Julie & Emily to finish the LA run but I think they deserve the broadway spot together after Kerry & Kendra. That would be amazing. I'm all for Julie, Marcie & Emily.

Please don't let Kendra do it. Not that I don't like her but it seems like she's been doing the show forever and needs to find a new show to go to.

I think, they should finish out LA, and then go to Broadway. It would be cool because they were OLAC members and now closing the show.

I think Eden will be back to close it out in S.F. OK, so maybe it's just wishful thinking.

haha, yeah VERY wishful. isn't she going to do rent? speaking of wishful thinking though, i really really want to see shoshana as elphaba before LA moves to SF. i know that she had been thinking about it before, but that never happened. maybe it could happen again? but i would settle with marcie too. i don't know about julie reiber though. i haven't heard that much from her.

Well, if *I* were Teal (and I am SO not! LOL), I'd want a break even just for a month between the end of the LA run and the start of the SF run. And I know I personally would love to see Eden come back for a month to close out the LA run. But that's just me!

I hope/wish they could put in Eden like Dee and how shes ending Chicago

On the other hand, it's hard to step down from the most successful musical in the world in the past 3 years. It still makes more money than any other musical on Broadway and around the world. Why would you want to leave the best of the best gigs out there?

YES. Please. People underestimate her sometimes, but she's incredible.

hmm i think i would want them to get new leads. no offense to teal AT ALL. i love teal. shes frickin amazing. but it would be really cool to see a fresh face. yeah, teal is pretty new already. but i would love to see some undiscovered talent.

That made my laugh! Teal has been with the show for only 6 months, and has been the lead for a month, and already people are clamoring for someone new and undiscovered? LOL

yeah, but doesnt she have like another 6 months til it moves. thats a year...thats long enough for you to "memorize her mannerisms" or whatever. and im not "clamoring" for a new elphaba. not once did i say that i dislike teal. in fact im pretty sure i said that i love her. shes in my top 3. its not like i want her to stop doing musicals altogether. it would be cool to see her in another show. but i would also like to see different people in the role of elphaba.

Well if this Teal rumor IS true, i'm very excited and happy.

Anyway....I'm happy with whoever they choose. I'd like to see a variety of Elphaba's.

I think if Teal extends past her Sept contract to finish off the LA run, then I'd personally like to see someone new in SF.

If she finishes in September (and someone else finished out LA), then I wouldn't mind seeing her back in SF. Just my 2 cents.

^See I don't know if I could see Julia coming back...at least for a good long time. I heard the role was pretty hard for her vocally, and I think a nice long break would be good for her...even if the last time she did it was last October.

Here are my predictions for Elphaba and/or Glinda.

Teal/Erin- Erin loves the role, and there's a chance that a good chunk of LA cast members will move to San Francisco with the show.

Shoshana as Elphaba- Shoshana stated that she wanted to do the show again last year when rumors were circulating that she might be the next Los Angeles principal.

Eden as Elphaba- It's just wishful thinking... mainly due to the fact that I'm making a four hour road trip down to San Francisco next summer to see the show one last time before I start college. RENT will have (thankfully) wrapped by then as well.

Kendra as Glinda- She stayed with the Tour for a year and a half and has reprised the role on Broadway twice. I'd say there's a pretty good chance she'd do the role again.

sho already said that all rumors of her return are completely false. though i would love love LOVE to se her play elphaba
