Kate was born in Chelsea, MI. She went to University of Michigan -- Ann Arbor. She has been in the touring companies of The Full Monty and Cats, as well as the off - Broadway production of Sarah, Plain and Tall (u/s Anna, Caleb). Kate understudied G(a)linda in the Chicago company of Wicked, before taking over the part from Erin Mackey, who left for LA. She was the official Chicago Glinda from April 15, 2008, until June 1, 2008. She was replaced by Annaleigh Ashford.
