Randomly, when did Cosimo de Bartolomeo leave (thus, when did Casey Lee Ross join the cast)?

Is Willemijn just taking time off Wicked to do Aida then... or would she be leaving Wicked for good? Anyone have a clue?

I know for sure that she hasn't signed a contract yet, so let's wait and see!

I read on another board that Jana's last day was February 21.

Like Jessica said, Jana's last was last week (), and Marco Fahrland's last show was on February 15.

Yesterday (February 28) was the first "bigger" cast change. Nicole Radeschnig (Nessa) and Stefan Stara (Moq) left, as well as several ensemble members - Emma Hunter, Jessica Lantto, Kisha Howard, Artur Molin, Alan Byland, Jens Simon Petersen, Sam Hale, Rey Rodriguez and Matthias Dressel.

Do they have Sundays off in Stuttgart?

nope. 2 shows on sundays.

Emily Beaton-Young, Juliana DeAquino (u/s Morrible/Akaber), Theano Makariou (witch's mother), Vanessa Campbell, Filippo Strocchi (u/s Fiyero), Jonathan Johnson, Tommie Luyben and Kit Gresty joined the ensemble.
Belinda Jean Edwards and Alessandro Cococcia moved from ensemble to swing.
Katrin Löbbert (u/s Glinda) and Petter Bjällö (u/s witch's father, Wizard and Dr.Dillamond) joined the cast as swings.
Jens Simon Petersen left the ensemble but is still walk-in cover for Fiyero.
Bero Antunovic will start rehearsing for ensemble and understudy for Fiyero mid-May

When is Willemijn leaving for AIDA?

She will not leave.

She will just miss a few shows through out the summer.

Unfortunatelly Stuttgart now lost one of his new actresses: Juliana DeAquino was on the Air France Plane which crashed into the Atlantic last sunday as you probably read in the other thread.

She was a very talented Madame Morrible/Akaber and one of the strongest ensemble members.


There is no information so far who will have the sad responsibility to take over for Juliana. But probably Helena Böcker will play her Morrible/Akaber-shows and also part of her ensemble parts as she also did during Juliana's vacation.

It seems Heather Carino took over for Juliana, at least as far as her ensemble track goes.

Candy Marriott replaced Maria Graciano
Dunno who will be new dance captain!

Candy is now in Barbara Schmid's further ensemble part and Barbara is a swing now

Not exactly cast *replacement*, but Katrin Löbbert seems to have officially changed her name to Katrin Taylor; the cast lists are being printed with her married name.

Does Roberta have an alternate?

You mean now? Willemijn's officially still the lead Elphaba, Roberta is her alternate and took over while Willemijn was gone. There are (were) two more understudies in Stuttgart - Melanie Gebhard and Maria Walter, who played when Roberta couldn't.

Didn't Willemijn leave on January 6?

Yes, but only temporarily, she's coming back as lead in Oberhausen (in March) and Wicked in Stuttgart closed today anyway. Technically yes, Roberta was lead for the last 3 weeks, but none of the two understudies got promoted to alternates or anything of the sort, if that's what you're asking.

Oh okay. I was a bit confused.

OK so, I have absolutely no idea where to post this since it has nothing to do with the Oberhausen cast, nor technically with the Stuttgart cast anymore, but Teal-Shade-of-Eden mentioned he'd like Mark to come back to Wicked after Mathias leaves.

Mark is part of the Musical Tenors and will be going on tour starting October 2010.
