Ok...so did anyone else catch that the dance Elphaba and the Wizard do together during "Wonderful" is the EXACT same dance that Dorothy and Co. do in "Off to See the Wizard"? I thought that was a nice touch...sadly it took me over two years to catch it.

i think its awesome how they pay tribute to the Wizard of Oz in so many small ways in the show, i thought that dance looked familiar!

ditto....i think it's just neat that they tried to sneak the wizard of oz in there so many times!!!! it's like that little added special touch that not everyone picks up on but you feel special when you do!!!

I've noticed it. Ben says something like "That's right! Follow the yellow brick road!". And they skip.

Yep I noticed that the first time I saw it.It stood out to me because my friend and I do the skip everytime we go to Kings Island(an amusement park in cinci) Everyone stares at us,but who cares :ha: Yep we are dorks :crazy:

Haha! I do the skip all the time!... It's just fun to do! I think I did it with my friends the last time I went to King's Island!

That's awesome! (And my friends & I skip together all the time - school, dance class, the mall, wherever. It's just so fun!)

I love George Hearn, but he cannot dance. At all. If you've seen the Putting It Together video he is the worst dancer. But the role that he got his big break from was not a dancing role. I'm talking about Sweeney Todd, btw.

another really cool part i like is when Elphie visits Nessa in Act II and says "Oh there's no place like home." that made me feel all happy :mrgreen:

p.s.- who doesnt like the famous skip?? its fun!!

that's a very good observation, now that i've seen a clip again it truly is like that.
