Can such ticket borkers be trusted, like Ticketsnow, Vividtickets, Ticket-Liquidator and (etc.) This is because I am looking for tickets under $60 for the run in Pittsburgh, PA. the seating section is not a matter for i want to do the lottery BUT, I want tickets to back it up if I don't win. I live a about an hour and 1/2 form Pittsburgh... Cleveland-ish. I'm not driving that far just to loose. I don't care if its in the 2nd Tier (Balcony-ish) I'm taking a friend to see the show so its kinda special. I am very aware of Ticketmaster is the only ticket vendor authorized to sell Wicked and in this case being a toured show, it is sold by the Theaters box-office. the big picture... Is it worth brokers?

I've bought tickets from places like that and had no problems.

Whenever I lotto'd on tour, after they called out the winners, they offered a whole bunch of partial view seats for people who didn't win. I just stood near the box office, bolted over after they had called the last name, and got a very decent seat for $25. Mind you, I don't know if this is the case everywhere; there just happened to be a lot of seats in Philadelphia. But it might be something you'll want to look into if you're concerned about having a back-up ticket for the lottery.

i think it depends on the popularity in each city. id definitely feel it out beforehand. in charlotte, the show was INCREDIBLY popular and hard to get tickets for. there were over 100 people for the lottery most days. they sold unclaimed seats after the lotto, but they were about $125 a piece.

see if you can figure out how quickly (or even if) seats sold out for that city. that may help indicate how many people still want to see the show and don't have tickets and if they'll have any left over.
